10th Place— I tried to make every anim on here a finished one but some that I’m extra proud of aren’t so okay. Buddy Holly is one of my favorite people to have ever existed and so I had to do a birthday tribute for him. His birthday sprung up so quickly though and I was so busy that I just wasn’t able to finish it but I’m proud of the stylistic work I did with this one. I was having fun with the linework and working with what should be transparent or whatever

9th Place— Another one that’s unfinished but this one was because I lost the file halfway through. Still, this one surprised me with how well I was able to render from the reference on my phone and it will forever remind me of the audiobook of Stephen King's it. It’s trippy how fast time goes, it felt like just yesterday but I’ve done so much since then.

8th Place— Lower on the list because it’s so simple but I adore this drawing for no reason. It’s definitely my favorite out of all the little faces I was making at the time. I don’t know why, it’s just charming to me and I love the simplicity.

7th Place— I was very proud of this when I made it and I still like it a lot. It’s interesting to see how much better I’ve gotten with lineart and shading even in just the short amount of time since I made this. #noreference lol

6th Place— This one's interesting since it’s so experimental with the lines I was using. I put the color and shading on top of the heavy linework. Interesting use of layering I guess. This one is lower on the list since I think there’s a lot more I could’ve done with the balloon with Pennywise's face in it. I just think I was so done being hunched over my iPad on my bed squinting at my phone lol but I still think this once came out good, especially the shading on Mr. Wise's stupid Eddie-killing face

5th Place— This one’s slightly older but I still think it looks really good. I like the composition and colors and I was just starting to do crosshatching all over the face like that. I had fun with the stuff in the background and now I can say I’m into even more lol, I hadn’t even bought my copy of It yet… oh the Stephen King that was yet to come. We love me tricking everyone into thinking I wear glasses and had short hair… I was in the midst of getting a haircut and I wanted one so badly that I just cut it off in the drawing lol. The glasses are a pair of blue-light resistant ones I bought to look like Buddy Holly lol so I was tricking y'all, I’m not visually impaired at all, yeah 15-year-old me take that. I like the moving words at the bottom though, just adds something to the piece, especially on an animation platform. I don’t draw myself a lot so it’s cool to have a good drawing of myself, even if I added things to make it look "better" like the hair and glasses. Self-image boosting I guess

4th Place— My angst Reddie Art since I am still sad. This one's cool because I did it kind of inverted, like making highlights instead of shadows. I like the hand, I think it looks cool and the whole piece kind of looks like a weird x-ray. The ref I used was a blurry screen-cap I took from the movie lol so that probably didn’t help. The one thing I’ll say is it’s kind of hard to tell that he’s hugging a person and not just a black pillar inside a jacket but that was bound to happen unless you know the movie and that specific scene. It was interesting making Richie's face as well, I think the glasses and the shading turned out good though. Stephen King, you did not have to kill my Eds, why. Andy Muschetti, you could have been revolutionary and NOT KILLED HIM..l but no. Even the 90s one left it kind of ambiguous and made it so Ben and Bev remembered each other like… it could’ve been done.

3rd Place— (I should sleep lol) This was a hard battle for second place between this one and my Stan Uris drawing but I decided to place this one as third just because I had a reference for it where the other one I did from my head so it gets creativity points. It doesn’t look exactly like the ref since I’ve never drawn dragonite before but that’s probably a good things so it’s not like plagiarism or something lol. The background was so hard to do and I literally could not move my hand at the end of it. I almost scraped the flowers altogether but I decided not to and I am glad. It looks cool :)

2nd Place— STAN-THE-MAN. I made this guy for SomeStrangeGirl's contest they had back in like June I think. I already explained in the last one why this is second so I won’t get into that but this one also murdered the nerves in my wrist. I am proud of it though I think it came out good and fit the theme of flowers and blood. There’s a lengthy explanation in the comments about the meanings behind it and stuff since I clearly like boring y'all with long paragraphs explaining my stuff but all your really have to know is Stan Uris is a character in Stephen King's book It and he likes birds so that's what the nest is. I just wanted an excuse to make pastel Stanley angst ya know? He’s so pale because he (SPOILER SORRY) dies and idk I am into the losers coming back to their kid selves after they die or whatever that is. Most of you probably don’t know a lot about It other than it’s a scary clown movie so I won’t get into that. Anyway, yeet, I am obsessed with these characters still and I don’t know why.

1ST PLACE— OKAY I swear I’m not just advertising my newest animation I’m seriously super proud of it and it kind of comes full circle for me. I can finally draw wolves like I wanted to all through middle school so I guess I can thank my terrible art style before seventh grade for at least that. I actually found a way to make the VSD eye fit on a head like that in a better style. I also don’t need a reference to draw wolves since they’re now so ingrained in me lol… so many furries… we don’t bring up my old old art. Anyway, I am proud of how far I’ve come and I’m glad I chose to look through this account even though it’s so late and I’m exhausted. I’ve been on Flipanim since sixth grade and after years of experiencing it’s craziness and drama I can say thank you to it for giving me a way to put my art out into the world and build a community. This account specifically was just a spare I made back in 6th grade (the reason for the stupid misspelled name) that I had abandoned and decided to pick up again.

It’s insane that it now has over 300 followers. It had like less than 10 when I first came back onto it. Thank you so much everyone for all the support and love. Keep making art. You all are so talented, seriously. Some of your are so young yet you still go out and do it and make things, even if it’s cringey later I hope you don’t ever regret what you are making now, it’s all a stepping stone. Even seeing how far I’ve come in a year tonight is very interesting and enlightening and I hope to get even better as time goes on. (Here’s a piece of very old art for your enjoyment and to show what I used to make lol. That was once my favorite drawing I had ever made and I was so proud of it but looking back now I am so happy with how far I’ve come)
