Alex: I couldn't believe it, I was getting adopted. As I looked at their house, my eyes widened at how big it was. "This is the house?!"

My new parents, god, that's weird to say, anyways, my new parents ushered me inside and introduced me to a boy. I quickly introduced myself. "I'm Alexandra, call me Alex, if you call me my full name I will not hesitate to punch you." So much for first impressions, am I right? " Oh and I'm your new sister. "

I went upstairs to the bathroom, not like I had to use it, I just wanted to get away from the people. I preferred being alone, mostly because I usually hurt people. As I recalled the times I'd hurt people because of my stupid issues, I felt tears begin to collect and crawl down my cheeks.

I stared at my short, painfully thin figure in the mirror before flinching as I heard a door slam, I quietly opened the bathroom door and knocked on the slammed door.

"You ok?" I slowly open the door to come in.

I immediately began to feel bad, I had slammed the bathroom door. "I-I'm sorry, I slammed the door. I guess I needed a 'rest', alright I have finished my bucket list." I laughed , though pain could be heard in my voice .

"Dinned!" I heard mom and dad call. I wasn't excited, to be honest. " We should go, " I said. "Cya downstairs?"

"I'll listen to some on my phone." have pulled out some earbuds and my phone, putting on the Hamilton soundtrack on shuffle. Of course, the reprise for stay alive came on, so I was about to bawl my eyes out.

I, of course, started tearing up as Eliza came into the scene, dramatically acting out the part. What sane person WOULDN'T cry over a person who died like, 200 years ago?

I picked out a picture frame, as well as a desk and chair. I looked over at the parents for approval.
