Obsidian was in a Abused Familly they Abused him everyday but they kept tell him that they LOVE him ... and he believed them he got out of house when ever he can one day his parents caught him and punished him to where he almost died every day he also adapted to where he is a strong as Obsidian the parents gave up and they locked him away with little light this grows him UP made him Brave Determined and Kind and when he escaped all his friends didn't recognize him he so he ran away and ended up near a Volcano and he saw that that he can with stand the heat but not the cold after running away he found out more about him self and more connected to the spirts.
