Link There had been recent sightings of what was believed to be a werewolf living in the forest near your town. All it did was cause harm- break into stores, smash fences and, most bizarre of all, steal objects like necklaces and watch. Anyway, we’re getting into some backstory here- You knew a man named Azrael. He wasn’t your friend, but he lived a few houses over. He was tall, dark haired and had burn scars on one side of his face. You can choose whether you’re nice to him or argue with him all the time. One night, however, he’d disappeared into the forest, and hadn’t returned. Since no one else had noticed, you’d decided to look for him.
So that night, you headed out. You walked through the dark forest, every slight sound seeming like a danger. Mostly silence- Until you heard dog-like whimpering.

Jasmine stopped walking when she heard a whimpering, her hands turned into fists in her green coat pockets as she stared to walk toward where she was hearing the sound.
Whatever it was was hiding in the shadows, it’s black fur camouflaging it’s large figure perfectly. However, it’s whimpering didn’t stop.
“Hello..” she called out in a nervous voice as she squinted her eyes to try and see where the animal or thing was.
It seemed to be a wolf, though it stood taller than her. It’s single red and gold eye stared at her, as if it couldn’t see well. Which, crediting the fact it was missing it’s other eye, wasn’t surprising.
Sage : "Woah there-,, Who's out there, I'm not here to hurt you.." *she whimpered herself as she was afraid of the dark and forest*
It hesitantly approached.
It looked like a wolf, though stood taller than her and had similar scars to Azrael’s over one of his eyes.
Dex went ahead and followed the noise because he’s dumb.
Soap followed Dex because he knows Dex is dumb.
( soAP!!)
Whatever it was blended in almost perfectly with the shadows. Despite this, you could just find it because whimper-

“.. hello?”
Soap stood beside him and stopped him from going any closer-
He was still recovering after his recent adventures with ✨car✨
Soap gave a low bark, not growling yet giving the impression he might.
Whatever it was sounded like a weird mix of demon and dog. Probably not friendly.
F a s t e r owner come on-
Soap tugged just a tad too hard and Dex lost his balance-
(When one of your legs still isn’t better but you say you’re fine and refuse crutches:)
(I told you he’s dumb-)
Soap barked and tried getting him up but ultimately s t o p p e d him getting up-
He gently tried getting Soap off of him but he was too panicked to listen-
(Maybeeee Soap ain’t the brightest either-)
(And by he was too panicked I mean Soap is-
Because now I realise that’s confusing-)
(He is somewhat based off Dex, who reminds you of your own dog, and you adore your dog, so I’d imagine this is reflected onto Soap-)
Soap went quiet for a bit before giving yet another bark. This had no trace of any anger or malice - only slight concern.

“....” Stare again.
It then backed away again. (Big strong demon dog man
‘ow I got a thorn in my paw :( ‘ )
(Ayo im good at doing the Sherlock Holmes deduction thing-)
Soap made more barks and wagged his tail in what he hoped was a way to show he wasn’t a threat.
Whilst still stopping Dex from getting up.

It reluctantly approached.
You’ve seen drawings of Azrael in his doggo form so I’m too lazy to explain his appearance-
( well it’s a pretty big thorn- that’s actually a fang from another creature- hdidgaicyhegr; but sti l l-)
“..” He took another step forward, avoiding using one of his front paws.
Dex took note of that.
Soap finally stepped away from Dex and gave him the chance to get up-
Soap just followed him-
Dex eventually followed Soap because he didn’t wanna loose him-
(Ah yes, the still-a-puppy and very soppy looking St. Bernard who’s literally called Soap, one of the most least threatening names ever, along with an overgrown Pomeranian who is injured-)
Just looking for him-

Azrael had shifted back to his human form while out of sight.
The fang was still in his hand, which probably wasn’t good-
He sighed and put his hood up with his good hand.
Soap go search because he good boy.
Dex was lagging behind because last time I checked your leg tends to hurt if it’s still fractured but you use it anyway-
(He laughs nervously in the corner-)
Soap could smell him in da tree-
Quiet.
Thankfully, the leaves were hiding him- (they’re dying because it’s autumn but like they’re still hiding him-(
He noticed and panicked a bit, before tripping on a stick because HoW conveNiEnT-
He sat on him, not intentionally trying to h u r t him, just wanting him to stay-
He wagged his tail and barked-
Dex eventually caught up and just didn’t know what to do-
Soap looked at him like; ‘Look owner!! I caught someone :D’
He wasn’t easily recognisable- due to the fact he had his hood up and it’s dark out-
“Soap, get off! Don’t sit on people-“
Soap did so, still looking proud of himself-
He made an attempt to shove Soap off, but used his bad hand by accident and yelped-
“.. is there something in your hand..?”
Soap barked again, staying put.
“..” He held his hand out.
It was definitely a fang from something.
It was pretty deep into his palm, but could probably be taken out without too much trouble (don’t let him bite you though-).
“...” his limited medical knowledge knew that simply taking it out would result in lots of blood loss- (Yeah bad idea-)
“.. it’s uh... we’d need something to cover it after.. just.. kinda... well-“
( azrael is used to seeing people being scared-)
He winced, clearly refraining himself from biting him or something- (he’s gonna see his neighbor not using that hand tomorrow and realize it was him won’t he-)
(“Oh s n a p -
I’m just gonna pretend absolutely nothing happened-“)
“ ‘Cuz it hurt-“
Blank stare.
His eye was still demon-y, all red with golden irises and slit pupils. (they can dilate really big like a cats if he’s happy-)
( Simple, just give him beef jerky—)
“WhY aRe You apOlogisING sO mUcH-“
(he doesn’t understand humans -)
(What about steak-)
“I dOnT kNoW-“
(Good thing Dex I s n t human then-)

Soaps just sitting there being happy.

He seemed a bit scared of Soap-
( Riley sobbing in the background-)
“I didn’t think he would-“ Lie- (since azrael is mortal now he’s easily intimidated -)
“Is it because he jumped on you-“ (hah just wait until he meets Wolf-
He’s even bigger than Soap-)
(Big boy-
Although most of his size is just fluff but shhhhh-)
“I promise he won’t hurt you-
He just didn’t want you to run away-“

You’re talking to a guy who’s like 6’7 and you’re scared of a d o g -

Soap barked. This didn’t seem to be saying anything, he just wanted more pats-
( don’t worry Dex he’ll faint in like a minute-)
“Yes I am-“

Soap gave a bark of agreement. (Y’know, when the dog says you aren’t okay, you really aren’t okay-)
(Haha now you can’t have it-)
Dex makes angery squeaks- ( g o o d - )

(if he passes out and Dex takes his hood down that’ll be awkward-)
“You aren’t okay-

(Of course, Dex would still say nothing-)
“I’ll be fine-
Why does it even matter to you we haven’t met before-“

If Dex got used to how chaotic Azrael is once you actually get to know him-)

(They’re fairly similar;
“I’m okay!” Also has a broken spine.
“I’m not scared!” Is also hiding somewhere.
“I don’t need nor want a hug!” Is literally sobbing and hugging themselves.)
Dex just casually picked him up and took him home-

( Fun fact, the longer Azrael is on earth the more his powers disappear
He’s been stuck on earth for years now
There’s going to be a day when he’s fully human :> )

I mean he’s behaving and staying next to Dex-
He put him on the sofa and just kinda panicked-
Soap was still being happy-
He just left him alone-
Soap curled up by the sofa and just continued to be happy-
Soap was asleep by the sofa, and Dex was somewhere. It was unclear where.
