LinkWhat if he was gathering images, photos/samples of the wildlife for a friend of his. Knowing that he can take the climate well, his rope rips in half on one of the ledges. Causing him to fall to a sinkhole of water.

Gizmo hit the surface of the water, sending a shock up his spine as the cold water entered his lungs. Forcing out his air and instead to use his gills.
(Sorry for a wait, my siblings)
Naomi's ears twitched, stealing the essense of a gravesnake before sitting back on a rock in her dark cave. Her black clothing torn in several places but her white marking and eyes glowing with a blue algae.
He gasps, adjusting to the cold water, but he doesn't have the gear for this. And ones he has are drenched. He swims down into the cave tunnels in darkness, his spots glowing with a rose color. Without running water, there isn't much oxygen in the tunnels water. Giving him a limited supply.
Naomi seemed tp have her own network of tunnels, running into one which led to a pool of water where she drank the cool water,the orb that her horns had circled around glowing and pulsing, almost as if its recharging.
Gizmo keep swimming, using the bubbles that rise from the cracks of the tunnels to tell up from down. Searching for erosion that leads to pockets of air. Finding one and bolting up, using the rocks to help him.
Naomi nearly jumped five feet in the air, the orb causing a semiblinding flash as she growled.
Gizmo catches his breath, his eyes dilating. His heat senses on override, he backs up on the other end of the moon pool. His tail keeping him afloat.
There werw other, more larger heat signatures around. Naomi made another flash with her orb, thw heat signatures screeching and running into holes in the wall.
Gizmo dives into the cold moon pool. Not knowing what these thing were, his instincts heighten. Seeing a mix of heat signatures and dim colors from above the water. but he needs a few minutes of air.
Naomi grumbled, her orb now glpwing lightly to lighten the room. "You can come out now. I'm not hungry. Yet."
He doesn't trust it much but his good nature gets the better of him. Only popping his head out like a alligator. Gills in the water incase of anything, he'll swim off.
Naomi grumbled. "They are going to come back, and they have a high sense of hearing and smell, if you know whats best you would stick with me for now." She really didn't seem to keen on having visitors. Nor someone to protect. Her hooves clicked the ground as she stood up.
He gets up from the moon pool, still unsettled. He shacks off the water over the pool, putting down his damaged backpack.
Naomi sniffed it. "Researcher huh, not from here i take it?" Her claws were long and sharp, but her tail was keeping them warm on the cold rocks.
"You can say that...I guess," He tries to concentrate on everything. Getting a mental map,"..." He wanted to ask what she was but couldn't ask that. Wouldn't it be rude?
She yawned "well cmon, i have a safe place from the things i've been hunting." She climbed into a tunnel no bugger than 5 feet in height.
Gizmo follows behind, with his pocket knife and backpack. His tail a bit o=torn from stress of the water.

Naomi dropped down into a small dome, worn but lit candles around and lights in jars. There was a low table, the seats were worn cushions. And the bed was simple furs with a rolled up hide for a pillow. There was a skull of one of the creatures on the wall.

Gizmo stood there awkwardly, almost dry by this point. He didn't expect to get lost in the cave system. Or meet someone down here.
She sat down on one of the worn cusheens. Staring at him. "Sit down. If you wish yo ask questions do so."
