Teakfur and Ivypaw had been friends since they were apprentices. They both got along so well because they had the same wants, achievements. Ivypaw wanted to become a great mentor and teach the next generation, while Teakfur wanted to lead Thunder Pack and help them with alliances with the other forest territories. In the end, they both wanted power over other wolves, and they strived for these things together... In the end, Teakfur grew to be power-hungry. He was taught that no matter what came in his way, no matter who he cared about, he had to sacrifice the things he loved to get what he wanted. Ivypaw, being his closest friend, was one of those things... He killed his mother, broke up with his mate, and ruined his chances with his children, and grandchildren. Ivypaw, being the only wolf left in his life, he knew he was the last thing he had to sacrifice to get what he wanted... Instead of killing him, or breaking ties with him, he pretty much kills himself leaving Ivypaw alone with nothing but his thoughts

Having Teakfur die was the worst thing to ever happen to Ivypaw... Ivypaw looked up to Teakfur for the longest time and stood by his side through all hardships. With this all in mind, he goes mad.
