Sol was sitting in the corner of the little makeshift brick house thing. Glaze was running around the interior of the house. The fire crackled in the darkness of the night, flooding the room with light and warmth. Sol set down his mini blanket away from the scorching heat of the fire, but still within warmth’s reach. Glaze layer down in it,like she had done the last 3 nights she stayed with Sol. Instead of covering himself up, Sol lay on the ground, staring at the cork and canvas ceiling above him. He could see bits of stars through the holes and cracks in the ceiling. Glaze nestled herself under the miniature blanket and drifted off to sleep as Sol continued to gaze above him
