I like a good amount of detail so theres that
so your oc was walking around one quiet, late night
and hear quiet crying in an ally
they glance in and theres the outline of a large male lion (anthropologist you idiot)
he's holding his knees and has his head down, quietly letting out choked sobs
with the moon right above em or whatever,, they can see he was wearing a messy suit one of the open ones,, and his mane seemed to be switched back but it was more messy

Linkso just to get a sum of it,, Shawn and Marne are being assholes and blackmailing kai into giving them a monthly allowance or they hurt ppl he cares about :D
Mira-Jane: *she had trouble sleeping that night and decided to go out for a walk, she slowed down when hearing the sobbing and cautiously looked around. Knowing it was probably dangerous she slowly walked towards the alley and peered in, she couldn’t see him well so she decided to walk in* ..?
Mira-Jane: *she slowly continued on, she let her hand slide across the side of a building as she walked but stopped when hearing his muttered curses. she continued on again but in more of a worried rush and made her way to him* Kai? i-is that you? are you okay?
her voice only made him curl up more into a ball and he was trembling. He continued to look down but lifted his head slightly, tears dripped from his face. He mumbled. "I-Im fine." mixed in with the tears, there could be a slight glint of blood dripping from his face as he refused to glanced up and meet her gaze.
Mira-Jane: *her ears lowered at the sight of blood and kneeled in front of him, a worried expression would spread across her face as she put a hand on his shoulder* what happened to you...?
Mira-Jane: *she bit her lip then let out a small but shaky sigh* since you won’t tell me at least let me treat that wound of yours- I’ll leave this situation alone after.. *she knew she’d probably pick back up on it again, she kept her eyes on him while removing her hand from his shoulder*
Mira-Jane: *she looked into her purse then let out a small huff when realizing she didn’t have anything to clean his wound, just a bandage then murmured to herself before turning to him* ..you got any supplies at your house?
Mira-Jane: *she nodded then got up and held her hand out for him to help him up with a small smile, probably just trying to stay positive in these situations* we should g-go then.
Mira-Jane: *she thought for a moment before shaking her head and pulled him up, she raised a brow at his sudden question* no..why?
Mira-Jane: *she rubbed her arm while looking away* you..know you can tell me anything..right?
Mira-Jane: *she hesitantly nodded, looking back at him with a small smile* o-okay then..g-guess we s-should get going..
Mira-Jane: *she picked up her bag and followed beside him with a quiet sigh*

Mira-Jane: *she winced at the number, Mira bit her lip at the fact that she couldn’t turn down a person in need especially if it’s Kai. She reached into the pocket of her jacket which her wings rested uncomfortably under and pulled out a couple of $50 bills that were neatly folded together in between her two fingers and looked up at him* a-ah, alright n-no problem-
Mira-Jane: I understand *she looked ahead with a calm sigh, she didn’t want her curiosity to go too far but as usual it got the best of her and let a question slip without thinking* would it have to do with the reason your cheek has a large cut on it..?
