Raze immediately takes to Phantom unlike the other kids because phantom and blush were already together when they adopted Raze. Plus, Phantom is the one who finally develops a cure for Raze’s illness. To Raze, the other kids are being stubborn and unreasonable by not accepting Phantom as a parental figure. For GG and Icy, Blush is the only one they have a strong connection with, and GG even holds some resentment against Phantom at first, although that’s resolved by the time Raze is added to the family. Phantom is just “mom’s husband” and not “dad.” Phantom understands their feeling and doesn’t push the issue, but he still gets sad when they don’t return the care and love he shows them. He thinks of them as his kids because he’s been caring for them for so long in addition to his connection to their mom. They’re also similar in their care for others younger than them. They prefer to protect others rather than fight. They’re also likely to give others a second chance. Raze never forgets his past as a villain but he uses it like fuel to become kind. I think raze is the only kid who actually cares about their parents equally lol. The other two prefer blush

Oh and if you’re wondering why Icy gets a pass, it’s because Icy is autistic and speaks very rarely so it’s anyone’s guess how they feel about Phantom’s parental status (except I don’t have to guess because I’m the author)
