anatomy tips: study from real life!! look at real people (from images or someone near you) outline the shapes you see ( over a picture), and try to draw those shapes by yourself. use tons and tons of references!!
shading: learn color theory!! Find out what colors to use to shade, highlight, etc. also, determine a light source, and make sure all the shading follows it (i usually do front on lighting, but i should experiment more with it ripp)
clothing: refs refs refs!!! learn how folds act, where and how they form, etc. learn how to convey thickness in the fabric (more folds and more flowy for thin fabrics, thicker folds, less flowy for bulkier clothes, not flowy, stuff folds for stuff clothes, like leather)
animating: use the 12 aspects of animation, there’s tons of good youtube videos on them that helped me, also!! if you want to do something like a clip from a movie/show, pull up that clip in a split screen, and pause the video every few frames, and draw what you pause on (that’s how i did the sas-
-suke animation)
how to learn these things? youtube and pinterest are your best friends.
some youtubers i recommend are Angel Ganev and Ethan Becker
also if you use discord, join Angel Ganev’s discord, there are a bunch of great artists on there that can give you critique and art help (that’s honestly how i improved these past months, they are sooooo helpful)
Awe tysm :] tbh- i just use myself as a ref gvhfvhehrhj also, i dont have any tips on clothing but i do have some on shading, so when you're shading something , you have to know where the light source is. so, if my light source is on the left side of my OC, the dark shading will be on the right side of the oc and the light side will be on the left :D
