Linkso im happy that at least some of you are becoming more accepting of pan people (at least from what i've seen) and it's nice that at least some of you are helping us not be labeled by your community as 'the lesser bi' and not just as another sexuality with similarities to bisexuality
but what about sexualities that are similar (but not) bisexuality or pansexuality. i can't think of any examples but i know they exist. can you guys stop claiming those are just lesser bisexualities just because you can't do the same to pansexuals

Linkit's not biphobic for a different but similar sexuality or label to exist. the difference matters to some people and sometimes you're just, more comfortable with one label instead of the other. and i feel like i shouldnt be saying this because this is the same argument i have to make to defend pansexuality against the people who claim it's biphobic, just with pansexuality switched out for something else.
bi isn't "superior" to any other sexuality. i understand it's older and it has a long history and biphobia is, truly, an actual problem. but you're not going to find it in a similar sexuality. at least, not in the sexuality itself, but some of the people in it. some people are biphobic and happen to use a certain label, but that doesn't make the entire sexuality biphobic. just like this doesn't make the entire bisexual community panphobic or somethingphobic or whatever.

Link"well then, theo, if this doesn't make the entire community whateverphobic, why are you addressing the entire community?"
i am not, i am addressing certain people but encouraging everyone to listen so people are more aware of it and can maybe help discourage it.
just wanted to clear that up just in case
so i just wanna comment that an example of a sexuality like bisexual and pansexual is polysexual (attracted to many but not all genders).
anothr example is omnisexual (attracted to all genders but being attracted to some more than others).

https://lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/Omnisexual
how is it more similar to pan ? if I’m not mistaken, pan is no preference, and not taking into consideration ones gender. as a bisexual person, I am attracted to all people (two or more genders), but I prefer male/more masculine people. again, I don’t want to erase omnisexuality, I just wanna learn the difference and I’m kinda having trouble
