Sundial's fur bristled, her breaths coming in short, shallow gasps. Death, king of the Underworld, stared her and Plume down. She felt like she was going to faint. A ring of fire surrounded them, and smoke filled the air, choking her.
Death sneered down at the pair. Sundial trembled under his intense glare, her wings clamped tightly to her sides. Death's voice was cold and terrifying, barely a whisper as he hissed, "You know why. You didnt prove yourself innocent, so I will torture your little pal there and make you watch. Then we'll switch!" He smiled malevolently, his skull for a face twisted.

Sundial's attention snapped immediately to Plume at the sound of his voice. She was crying uncontrollably now. "No! I wont let you!" She yelled. Her gaze desperately searched for any possible escape route. She looked at Death, her voice desperate and filled with agony, she cried, "I'll kill myself! Right here, right now! Just let him go!"
Death cackled when Sundial lifted a paw to her throat and dug her claws into herself. She tore out a chunk of flesh, and tried to keep herself from screaming and agony as she felt a sharp sting. Blood, warm and sticky, flowed from the wound onto her chest and the ground like a river. She stepped away from Plum, and bit into her paw and twisted it, hard. A loud snap echoed in the room filled with fire and smoke. And now, the scent of blood. Sundial muffled her own scream.
Death released Plume from his invisible grip, and watched the pair as Sundial bled to death in his ring of fire. Glee was painted all over his skull for a face. Sundial let herself crumble to the ground, feeling more and more faint as the pool of blood grew around her. Her now broken paw hurt with an unimaginable agony. Sundial cried out faintly. Her strength was ebbing.
*Plume swiftly pulled a syringe from his supplies and jabbed her in the side of the neck with it, it was a sedatative* I'm sorry, Sundial, but were panicking, your panicking would increase your heart rate, thereby increase blood lose rate, so you were killing yourself, this shouldn't knock you out, you will just be calmed down and paralyzed from the neck down.
Sundial's ears perked, and flinched at the noise of the elk. She decided to try and stand again. She slowly got to her paws, and lifted her broken one clearly off the ground. She took a few tentative steps forward, before crashing to the ground again. She landed on her paw, and she screamed in pain again. At least she was closer to the stream. She hoped Plume hadn't heard her.
Sundial cried out at the sight of Plume lying in a pool of blood. She spread her wings, and launched herself from the branch. She landed beside him, panicking. Her heart was racing, her breathing coming in shallow gasps. She tried to collect herself, calm down. For Plume's sake. "Plume! What happened? Are you alright?" She searched him with her eyes, looking for any signs of life.
*Plume sat up with a pained groan, he kept his hand over the wound to try to help stop the bleeding* I-I'm fine, Sundia- *he let out a shriek and fell over, his muscled tensed like he was in extraordinary pain, managed to calm himself down* I need bandages... and gauze pads... as well as my sewing stuff.
Sundial nodded, horrified, and ran to his supplies kit. She grabbed a handful of bandages, what she thought were gauze pads, and a needle with a spool of thread. She winced at the sight of the needle, remembering it entering her neck. She shook away the thought, and ran back to Plume, continuing to ignore the agony in her paw.
She draped her tail over his side, trying to comfort him. She knew she was hurting him. She started crying, and stopped sewing up his wound. She was about halfway done. She couldn't continue. She couldn't bear hurting him. She shook her head and gripped the needle in defiance to her own mind. She was going to finish this.
The smile slid off her face, and nodded. She didn't know why she felt hurt all of a sudden. She was dead. She couldn't be with him anyways. Why do I feel like this? She thought, not realizing she had murmured it out loud. She grabbed the bandages and began to wind them around his neck and underneath his wings, wrapping it around tightly. She stepped back and nodded, deciding it was good enough.
Her ears flattened against her head, and she looked away. "Come on. We should be getting back." She reached towards him, ready to support his weight if it came to that. She yelped when she put a lot of her weight on her injured paw. She had completely forgotten about it being broken in the excitement.
Tears started running down her face. "Plume, Im sorry! But... Im dead! You're not." She turned away so he didnt need to watch her cry. Her shoulders shuddered as her body was racked with agony. Her mind was screaming horrible things at her. She saw the image of Plume's dead body, with Death hovering over him. She screamed, "NO!" aloud.
*Plume acted like he was nonchalantly looking through his things, when suddenly, he zipped up and jumped onto Sundial's back, a syringe in his talons, without a moment to ask for permission, he injected her in the neck with it* I can't have you dying on me, Sundial... *he said calmly to insure Sundial of her safety*
Sundial jolted awake, and lifted her head quickly. That was a bad mistake. She still felt light headed from last night. Her wound felt less inflamed. She took a deep breath. She hadnt died a second time. She whispered, "Thank you, Plume." And layed her chin on top of his head, breathing in his scent, comforting her.
A feeling of longing coursed through her, to be with him. But she knew she couldnt. She got up, favoring her broken paw. She flung out her wings for balance. She got a piece of paper, and wrote, "Thank you for saving my life many times over. I will miss you so so much. I love you. Please, never forget that." Tears filled her eyes as she continued to write next to the stream.
"I wish I could be with you, but Death will never allow that. I hope that in removing myself from your life, he will leave you alone. This is so very difficult for me, but, goodbye forever, Plume. Please, live your life to the fullest." She folded the letter and stuck it to a tree in Plume's line of sight. She carved out S & P in a heart below it, so that their love would forever be preserved in this forest.
Sundial kept flying, trying to put as much ground between herself and the love of her life. Tears were streaming down her face. She had been flying for several hours, and her wings were sore. Her broken paw was aching like mad. She flew for another hour or so before she decided it was safe to land for the night. She settled in the tallest tree she could find after taking a drink from a nearby river. She ignored her inflamed paw, and curled up in the fork of the branch.
*Plume had found her paw prints in the dirt, he followed them throughly, until he found where the simply stopped, he noticed that the imprints were different, like she lifted off with her wings, he mumbled to himself* it's most likely that she'd fly in a straight line, like birds, she was running way, not trying to sneak away, otherwise her tracks would have been more scattered...
*Plume had a hard time resisting the strong winds, but he had to stay on course to find her, loose feathers streamed from his wings, his wings looked similar that that of a pheonix's flaming wings with sparks flying from it's flame, he was in pain due to the stitch on his chest being on his pectoral muscles which controlled his wings, but he bared through it*
(lol jk)
Sundial dreamed that Death was holding Plume in his clutches, and made Plume rip open his own stomach, and lay there while his organs and blood poured out, taking his life slowly. She listened to his screams, unable to do anything. He cried out to her, and she jerked awake, crying and screaming bloody murder. (If Plume is nearby he might be able to hear her or something idk)

Her sudden movement threw her out of the tree. She unfurled her wings, trying to catch a draft, but she was falling with her back towards the ground, so she couldnt do anything but flail around helplessly. She crashed into tree branch after tree branch, cutting up her wings and body. One of her hind legs caught on a branch, still a ways above the ground. She flapped her wings, and flailed around, trying to get loose, but couldnt. She was stuck. She could feel her leg slowly being pulled out of its socket as gravity tried to pull her down.
His voice calmed her, so she yelped in pain and surprise when he grabbed her leg. She screamed when he started to push her leg back into its socket. She started crying, and she struggled against him, but he finished pushing it back, and stepped back. She lay there, her mind feeling even more foggy from the pain she was in.
"Plume! Stop raining! You're getting me wet. Why are you breathing funny? You should really breathe normally. I love you too." She decided she wanted to stand up now, so she attempted at standing. She leapt to her paws quickly, but toppled over. She yelped when she bent her leg, which was still sore.

"Why? I dont feel tired. Why are we here? Whats happening?" She screamed, and leapt away when she saw the ground opening up underneath her. She stood on 2 paws with her wings flung out for balance, and noticed that the ground next to Plume was perfectly normal. She started to cry and breath shallowly. "Whats wrong with me, Plume?"
*Plume was still asleep when Sundial awoke, his chest rose and fell with a calming rhythm, must of been exhausted from the day before, he chirped peacefully in his sleep, the morning was placid*
Sundial winced at the feeling in her head, and she threw up off to the side. She got to her paws and limped over to the river, and puked in it over and over until she was just retching. Shuddering, she collapsed by the river. She saw bright red colored birds soaring above her in a purple tinted sky. She squinted up at them in confusion. Everything seemed to be very brightly colored, and this alarmed Sundial. She lapped up several mouthfuls of the river water, ignoring the fact she had just puked in it moments before. She let her muzzle fall into the water as sleep overtook her once more.
Sundial woke as Plume was pulling her back to the tree. The world was spinning once more, and she groaned slightly at the pain in her head. She couldn't really remember much of anything that had happened the previous day. "Plume...." She groaned quietly.

Sundial wondered why he had done that. "Plume, why are we here?" She started shuddering a little bit, and her muscles tensed.

*he felt horrible doing this without her permission, but he had to to keep her from dying, he inserted the funnel part in first with the tube sticking out, he secured it so if she bumped it, it wouldn't kill her, he put gauze pads around the incision, taped the tubed to go up and around her ears and behind her shoulder, he then added a weird filter to the end to keep material from getting in the tube such as air, he fitted a collection well for the tube to her chest*
the tube allows it to draw excess blood till it can heal, why he had to secure it is because the brain is a very fragile organ so bumping into a foriegn object could horribly damage it, the incision is the cut, gauze pads are small pads of cloth used after surgery, the cranium (skull) cannot have air bubbles it due to the fact that its foriegn to the brain)

"Are you sure?" Her breathing was still coming in short gasps. Her paws began to tremble at the sight of the fire. Her vision started coming in and out of focus as panic engulfed her. "We have to run!" She screamed, turning and stumbling away from the river, yelping. Her eyes were wide with panic, and she ignored the sharp pain in her head.
There was still a few small flames here and there, but the most of it was just burned ground, smoldering embers, and smoke. She could hardly breathe, and there were several burns along her body. Her paws were burned terribly, and she screamed when she stepped on a still burning ember. She coughed and coughed and coughed due to the thick smoke.

She looked over at the dragon in concern, as it coughed up black water. She wondered if it was alright, but her run in the forest and the pain all over was finally catching up on her. She was too tired to do much of anything now. Blood continued to pour out of the gash in her side. Her paws throbbed, and her breath was still raspy. She continued to take deep breaths.

(Okay)
Her fur bristled, and she leaned back, surprised. "So, you've been hiding something from me?" She got off of him. She turned on him, completely forgetting about Scary Dragon Dude. "So, you've been deceiving me this whole damn time?!?" Hurt rang clear in her voice along with a sliver of anger. She backed away from him. "I cant believe this." SHe murmured. "I DONT believe it!" She yelled, trying not the cry. The first person she had trusted since her death had been deceiving her the whole time.
Plume: a nearly extinct race of beings that spawned from King Oroubas of the Celestial Court. They have the ability to steal souls and absorb them to gain their powers or just for power boosts, they get a high off of absorbing souls, so they have the tendency to be destructive... by destructive i mean destroying entire realms. I-I used to kill and murder and slaughter... I represent Morality... (dimensions)
*Sundial seems to have passed out again, when she awoke, Plume and the dragon were arguing, Plume seemed... enraged. the dragon also seems to have become more... feminine, it also looked bloated as if it ate a whole dragon*
Plume: I'M NOT LEAVING HER BECAUSE OF YOUR MISTAKE!
Dragon: YOU YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME DEAL WITH IT BY MYSELF?!
Plume: YES! YOU POUNCED ON ME, YOU FORCED ME TO DO THAT! IT'S ALL ON YOU!
*the dragon let out a snarl in response*
Plume: look! Either you can stay here or leave! If you leave, I'm not going to help you!
*the dragon grunted and took off into the forest*
*Plume resisted the urge to tell her, but he broke through* that dragon was using shadow magic to make it seem male... but it was truely female... it overheard me telling you that i was an archae.. and while you were passed out it pounced and pinned me to the ground and.. took advantage over me and my weakness.. it knew i had strong genes, so she wanted offspring that carried those genes... and you can guess the rest... I had no intentions in doing any of that, Sundial. I promise on King Oroubas! *he hugged her tightly, sniffling*
She hugged him back. "You mean she raped you?!?" She yelped in surprise. "And she just left like that?!?" Anger coursed through her. "How dare she! She can't just do that to you!" She broke away from him and followed the dragons scent into the forest. Sundial was going to give that dragon a piece of her mind!
She yelped in surprise. "Plume, I swear! She deserves to be yelled at! She can't just waltz in on our lives, act like a dude, turn into a girl, rape you, and then leave without giving me time to yell at her!" She was shaking with rage. She yanked her tail out of his grasp and continued running along the dragon's scent trail.

Her legs buckled beneath her before she could reply. She fell towards the ground, landing on top of Xeras' feet. She felt really light headed, like she was going to faint. Terror lurched through her at being so close to Xeras. She tried to get to her paws, but they weren't working. She started panicking.
She yelped, and her tail tucked between her legs as she was jabbed in the neck. Her legs buckled beneath her, and she lay on the ground. She wondered how many times she had been stabbed in the neck with a needle the past week. Fear flooded through her, and she started panicking. Blood continued to pour into the collection tank.
She leaned into his arm. She jolted as she realized that she must seem extremely weak to Xeras. She felt extremely tired. Sundial glanced towards Xeras, wondering how she always seemed to know what she was thinking and feeling. She wondered if she could read thoughts and feelings. She instantly filled her thoughts with images of cows wearing chicken hats.

She was about to walk over to Plume when she froze. How did she know? Sundial asked herself. Her heart started hammering in her chest, and she swallowed uneasily. Her voice was shaky when she replied, "I dont know what you're talking about." She gave a nervous laugh. Will she try and manipulate me? Sundial thought. Her heart sped up even more. She was sure Plume and Xeras could hear it.
"You cant know!!! You arent supposed to know!! SHIT!!!!!!! Now Death can toy with you as well!!! Damn it!!!" She yelled. She lifted a paw, and around the wrist, she bit herself and tore at the flesh. She was punishing herself. She could imagine Death cackling at her, and her sank her fangs in deeper.
She threw her wings around Xeras and hugged her back. She pressed her face into Xeras, and cried into her. She couldn't stop hearing the crack of her paw bone being broken. Feeling the agony. Forcing herself to tear part of her throat out. She couldn't stop seeing the images. They were flashing before her eyes.

Her wings were starting to droop. She was dozing off to sleep in her hug with Xeras. She felt safe there. Like she always felt with her sister. A strong feeling of longing and loss swept through her. She would never see Belle again. She jolted awake when she crashed to the ground. All of the other emotions were gone. Strange. "What was that about? And what do you need to be saving me about? I wasn't going to die or anything." She sounded extremely tired, like part of her life source just got sucked out of her.
She laid lymply in Xeras' arms. "Okay." She murmured. Before she started drifting off, she was thinking of a different way to punish herself without Xeras or Plume noticing. She couldnt let herself get away with putting Xeras in danger, no matter what Xeras said. Sundial cuddled against her. She felt like she was almost at home. With Belle. But that would never happen. Belle used to hug her to. Belle used to make her feel safe.
Now she was angry with herself. WHY IN THE HELL AM I DOING THIS?!? She thought angrily. She stopped struggling all together. She glanced around, and noticed that Plume was gone. "WHERE IN THE BLOODY HELL IS PLUME?!?" She started struggling fiercely against Xeras. "OH MY GOD!!! DOES DEATH HAVE HIM?!?!" She was becoming hysterical.
She spotted the river and dove, picking up speed. She barrelled into Plume, and she yelped at the impact. She hoped she didn't just injure herself or Plume. She ignored the pain in her wing, deciding it was nothing and licked his cheek. "You gave me a heart attack!!!" She smiled at him. Her wing was angled oddly, but Sundial didnt notice. She was just so happy to see him.
She looked down at Plume with concern when he didnt respond. "Plume?" She poked him with a paw. "Plummmeee!" Fear jolted through her. What had she done?!? She ran all the way back to where they had slept that night, screaming, "XERAS!!! XERAS, SOMETHINGS WRONG WITH PLUME!?!?!" Her injured wing was tucked sloppily against her side, and it looked slightly twisted. Sundial had no idea due to the adrenaline. She couldn't feel anything, just fear for Plume.

Takka: it's alright. This Darknix here... its augmented and awoken.. hmmm... rare. I should probably keep it alive... *she felt Xeras' pulse* my diagnosis is severe bloodloss, to the brink of death infact, her skin is could, it should be warm, this is a soulfire variant going of the horns and amount of ember hueing, i can transfer her some blood and she'll be alright.
She crash landed beside the river. She screamed. She had wrenched her wing even more. She scrambled to her paws, ignoring the pain. She yelped, "Plume?!?!" She checked under the bush, and he wasnt there. She picked up his scent and started following it. She started hyperventilating as she ran. "PLUME!!!!"
She flicked her ears with interest. What was he dreaming about? She didn't have enough energy to care right now. She would think about it later. She finally emerged into the clearing, panting like she was dying. Her wing was twisted horribly, and it was even worse now that she had to use it to keep Plume on her back. She called out, "Ta-kka...... Xe-ras....... Plume..... Help......" And she collapsed on the ground, gasping for breath, her wing feeling as if it were on fire. Plume rolled over due to her wings not being able to support him, and she screamed in agony when he rolled onto her wing.

She looked at him. "We aren't married!!!" She gasped, shaking his arm. "We aren't even ENGAGED!!!!" She looked at him feeling extremely guilty. "I just broke the last promise I ever made to my sister!" She was sent into a flashback almost immediately. She had been telling Bluebelle about how in health that day, they had been taught about reproductive organs and how sex works. Bluebelle had said, "Promise me Sundial. Promise me that you will never have sex till your married. Promise me?" I nodded eagerly, and had responded, "Of course! I promise." Sundial was thrown back into current time. She was hyperventilating.
(XD Plume's secretly a girl and Sundial's a lesbian ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED! Im laughing so hard rn)
She accepted, saying "Of course I'll marry you even though you didn't ask if I wanted to!" She licked his cheek and leaned into him. She then started picking flowers and weaving them into his feathers. "You look pretty." She giggled a bit, adding a flower crown to his head.
She laughed. "Oh yeah?!?" She took off at a run and launched herself into the air, laughing all the way to the clearing where Xeras was. She zoomed in the air, doing flips and dives, thoroughly enjoying herself. She then dived towards the ground, pulling up in time to land without injury. She was only slightly winded.
She continued pacing frantically. "Its not just the giving birth part. We have to RAISE it afterward! And, and take care of it... And other things! I dont know anything about being a parent!" She continued pacing, her words getting more jumbled together. "And we have to plan the wedding ceremony so we can be officially married, We'll need to find someplace to settle down with a school nearby for our kid...." She trailed off thinking of all the responsibilities a child came with.
"I know its not a human!" She snapped. "But I went to school! There are schools in this realm! We arent in the human realm! And I would want our kid to be educated, and to make friends!" She started pacing again. She wasnt sure if she could actually feel it growing inside of her or if it was just her imagination.

*two standing-upright creatures appeared on their corresponding call signs. the one on the left was pastel orange with scattered marks of pastel red and yellow, his eyes were startlingly green, the one on the left was much shorter, his fur was greyish-white with rainbow paint splatters*

As soon as Sundial saw the small Archaea, she immediately fell in love with it. It was hers forever now, and nothing could take it from her. She held it in her paws, and she snuggled with it. "What do they eat? How do I take care of it?" She started showering the boys with questions. She gasped. "Plume! What are we going to name it? How do we tell what gender it is?"
