"so.... i've been thinking..." he began "i know how much you love kids, and you know i don't really like them... but i've come to a conclusion...."

"would you go with me to maybe adopt a kid?" he asked, a slightly embarrassed smile on his face

he sighed a bit, smiling, a bit embarrassed "o-ok!"

he hugged void back

"when do you want to go?" he smiled

"ok" he smiled as he grabbed a coat "we can leave right now if you'dd like?"

he smiled, a bit nervous yet really excited

he was shaking a little, still smiling softly "lets go"

he started to walk to the door

he opened the door for void when he got there

"just get in the car" he chuckled softly, smiling

he got in the drivers seat after locking the door, buckling up after he sat down

he began to drive after letting the car warm up a little

he was already a little nervous, well before he pulled up to the adoption center after a while of driving

"i'm scared.... somewhat..." he was even more nervous now

"ok...." he took a deep breath then got out of the car

he was slightly shaking, frozen in place

"just.... just a bit nervous..."

he hugged him back, taking deep breaths

"alright..... lets go..." he sighed, nodding slightly

he held onto void's hand tightly as he began to walk

he opened the front door and walked inside with void, nervous a hell

he walked up to the front desk slowly, nervous

he looked around outside, still following them

"thank you" he spoke quietly and softly, he nodded a little then looked at all the children from where he was standing

there was one small little girl sitting alone, with a little plush bear in her hands. she seemed to be talking to it, as she was smiling and her mouth was moving. she had curly black-ish brown hair, pulled into small pigtails, her skin was a little darker than void's and her eyes were a deep hazel with some green, she wore overalls with a blue shirt underneath and white shoes

raie walked with him..... the little girl looked up, a curious expression on her face, and her long elf ears pointing down slightly

"uhm.... h-hi..." she smiled softly, a little nervous

"hm-? oh- this is Paris!" she held up the bear happily

she nodded happily "Paris!"

"i got him from the ladies that work here! said i needed a friend to play with.... don't understand why though..." she had a smile, then it faded to a slightly confused face

"thank you!" she smiled again

"i'm Quincy" she smiled then looked at him with a slightly curious expression "are you going to adopt me?"

raie waved, smiling softly.... quincy had a look of happy shock on her face

"yeah" she nodded and tapped her small, black horns "i'm not much of one either"

she stood up to hug him back

she smiled at the two

"c'mon. Let's go" raie smiled reaching his hand down to quincy, who grabbed his hand happily

they walked up to the person who brought raie and void outside

she nodded "they're nice people! they complimented Paris!" she smiled

she nodded

she smiled then ran off with Paris in hand.... raie smiled at void then followed the woman, holding voids hand

he held onto void's hand tightly, slightly nervous

ew.... the law /JK!!!)) quincy came back with a small suitcase and a sad smile on her face

"i'ma miss some of the people here...." Quincy looked at the floor

"ok" quincy nodded "i've said all of my byes"

"lets get going then" raie spoke softly, smiling... quincy nodded, happy

raie walked with the two to the car

"yeah...." he stopped in front of his car "how will we try and solve this?" he looked at void

"we can go get one on the way to our house.... that might work..." he said softly

"but how do we not get pulled over before we get one?"

"i can sit on your lap" Quincy looked up at void

she smiled and raie opened the passenger door for the two

raie picked up quincy and set her on void's lap

raie got in on the drivers side and smiled at the two, buckling up

raie drove the small group to a store that had booster seats(bro i rlly don't know what kinda store would have these 🥲)

ah alr..... i didn't know how to put itt... i'm stupid)) she had her eyes on a blue one with white polka-dots on some areas of the fabric "tha one!"

shhuuhsh!)) she smiled happily, grabbing it

the group walked to raie's car after they got the booster seat, and qunicy scrambled into the backseat and put it in after raie opened the door for her

raie set her in the seat

"i wonder what she might've said" she spoke in a joking yet curious manner "anyways, i hear you get off in a little while?"

"alright! see you in.... uh... about 10"

after he was signed off, jewels called him again

"you're off now, correct?" Jewels was on the other side
