The flinx. The flinx is basically a catlike animal. But not a cat. The Flinx have a variety of manes, younger males have shorter mans while the older males have longer manes, yes the females have manes but they're not as - floofy? they just have the mane on the sides of their lower faces. they have bunny like noses, they normally have grey or brown eyes, floof on their legs, back and tail, they have skinny, medium length ears they're carnivores (if you couldn’t tell)

You’re probably wondering “what are they supposed to be?” well, technically im not exactly sure WHAT he is, I just used catlike to explain its like a flexible body and it has cat traits. and yes i do believe that i had originally created the fluff as a dominance trait, as they get older and they gain more fluff, it shows their dominance, unlike lions, they live in trees and very shaded, damp areas, most of the time their access floof is either lighter or darker than their main fur color. And as most animals do, they have side species that adapted to live in different environments. The lighter ones either have a sandy look to their fur or a deep tan color to stay hidden. As well as the forest ones, usually brown, black or dark grey, same for the rainforest ones. The ones that live in mountains usually have light grey or white and floof, the ones that live in certain places also have longer or shorter access floof.

Flinx’s have a certain tail. It’s not one that’s for swimming but you know how lions have that fur on the tips of their tails for no apparent reason? well that’s what it is, useless, unneeded fur. But for certain times in the desert at night or in the mountains at anytime, they curl up and use the extra fluff for warmth if they couldn’t find shelter. Unlike lions, Flinx prefer to live alone, unless bonded with a mate. If two flinx cross, it’s usually a mixture of ignoring one another or asserting dominance. Instead of roaring, they chirp, their main food is fish, small animals and at times, certain herbs to heal their wounds. You will only find a click of two flinx’s together, and if its more than two theres most likely a fight for territory, though as mentioned before, usually they’re passive.
