"your gender doesn't need to satisfy anyone but you" -this one's pretty self explanatory. nobody needs to be happy with your gender or your pronouns or your preferred name except for you, and nobody gets to tell you how to identify except for you. there's really only one exception and this tends to apply to every way you identify anyways but as long as you're not hurting yourself or others. there's no reason to stop people from identifying in a way that makes them comfortable and happy "there is no valid reason to misgender anyone" -legit. it's right there. that's it that's the take "nonbinary skepticism is still enbyphobic" -nonbinary skepticism is essentially when people don't believe being nonbinary is possible which is literally. just enbyphobia. in most cases it's because something something brain structure but like ok explain why i feel comfortable using they/them over he him? explain why i don't like being called binary pronouns and why my friends referring to me as-

nonbinary skepticism (and transphobia as a whole) is (from what i've seen anyways) always based off of being uneducated in the first place, either that or it's based off of fear or inherent bias

if someone is legitimately doing it for attention? i think they're just really ****ing stupid and desperate, but not really transphobic. i'd have to think about it more but atm i don't think so, no. it is taking advantage of trans people and is definitely contributing to transphobia, though
