*Outside the train* (copied and pasted from last time) Mystery through the smoke: *glances over his shoulder at the two as they crawl out of the train wreckage* *shouts:* What were you two doing in there!? Puzzle: *shouting back over the now louder ringing sound* We were looking around and found symbols scrawled onto the walls! *winces* What's that ringing sound!? Mystery: *eye flickering* I'm uncertain... We'll have to get Secret-- Where's Vague? Puzzle: In the train. He's fine. Mystery: He'd better be. *sighs in worry before making his way over to the pair* (Orijami, I'll explain in a sec, let me type ^u^)

(Nevermind, Misthearts explained :3)

Mystery: *next to the pair, switching his gaze between them* I'll call Secret, you two, get back in the train and find Vague. Meet me and Secret out here in several minutes. *leaves before they can reply, fading away into the smoke and ash*

(A demon cat or a demon taking the form of a cat like my o.cs? Either way it's fine! ^^) Puzzle: *hesitantly follows Poppy and crawls through the broken window and into the train, brushing away debris littered around the floor* Vague? *quietly makes his way over to the place Vague was last seen, by the chairs and strange holes found in the ceiling*

(Sounds cool to me! Will you be drawing it?)

Puzzle: *mutters* That emo-tsundere-- *stops as he also heard something scratching the roof of the train, he blinked at Poppy worriedly* It's probably one of the kids just looking for something... O-or maybe Vague! *quickly jumps up onto one of the chairs and peers out the window, only to be met with choking, black smoke*

Puzzle: *clears throat* That's not Vague... *continues to inch his way out of the window until half his body is lost in smoke* Who's up there!?

(Okay) Puzzle: *snarls under his breath, eye flickering for an instant* We don't mean you any harm! We're just looking for my brother! I'm Puzzle, this is Poppy. *gestures behind him*

Puzzle: Hey, *steps infront of the mask* are you alone? *runs his gaze over Moth in suspicion*

Puzzle: *leaps back* What the--

Puzzle: *thinking:Where the heck is Vague-- Does he have something to do with this!?* Moth! *takes a daring step closer*

Puzzle: *looks over Moths body, at the mask latched onto their face* Strange... *looks behind them at the sound of a small object being knocked over* I'll go check that out. *leaves the compartment*

(Brb. You can continue without me, I'll be drawing something quick!)

*a thin, black liquid slowly seeps out of the cracked shell of a bulb, emitting heat that hurt Puzzle's eyes from several feet away* *In Poppy's compartment* (also this description is quick and lazy sorry if it doesn't make sense) ???: *Appears in a silent explosion of whiteness, the figure's head reached the top of the compartment and their body was smooth and shiny like glass, their large eye set in the middle of their forehead flashing the many colour of the rainbow quickly, though fading slightly and moving at a slower pace at the sight of Poppy and Moth* Oh, am I late to the party~? *glances around calmly* Seems so~

???: *pouts at Moth* Aww, looks like their in some pain, is that riiight~?

???: *rolls eye at Poppy, sighing loudly* I'm guessing you wouldn't know of the masks, hmm. *looks back at Moth briefly*

???: Should I help them? *talking about Moth* Orrrr not? *chuckles, cocking head to the side and sighing dreamily* Choices, choices...

???: Oh, looks like you're on your feet again. *hmms happily*

Not something I've heard before-- *sees poppy looking behind her into the next compartment, grin widens sickeningly* Have we got companyyy~? *takes a single step toward the door before the grin completely disappears* Demon. *galres at Moth and Poppy* There are other demons here, right?

???: *Sighs at Moths actions before glaring back at Poppy, their eye starting to pick up pace in switching colours, darting back at forth, up and down as if searching for something* I can't find them... My eye can search all corners of the universe, a few blind spots here and there yes, but I should be able to see them unless-- *tenses up* They're demons. *growls* How many are there, darling?

???: *smirks, though clearly still annoyed* Thank you. *pauses and slowly turns toward the door* Very. much. Puzzle: *behind the door, listening to the conversation with his usually smooth black fur fluffing up with worry* Where is Secret? And Vague... *inches away from the door*

???: *ignoring the two as he pushes roughly past Poppy, though gently opening the door with his long, constantly twisting tail* *calls into the darkness softly* Hello there~? Puzzle: *in the corner, hiding behind a fallen curtain, holding his breath*

???: *Pauses in the middle of the doorway, thinking over their options carefully before finally exiting the room and making their way to the window, making sure to look over Poppy for any sighs of lying* You had better be telling the truth, darling, otherwise... *moves paw along their long neck, making an overused dying sound then exiting through the window in a blur of motion* Puzzle: *slowly crawling out of hiding* Are they... gone?

Puzzle: *faces Moth* Are- are they okay!?

Puzzle: Moth? Moth!?

Puzzle: *glances at Poppy* Jack?

Puzzle: If I remember correctly, wasn't Jack the one that let us stay at their house about a day ago? *turns back to Moth* Why are you mentioning Jack? Did you see them when you had the mask on?

Puzzle: Well-- *jumps at the sound of footsteps over their heads* J-Jack isn't here at the moment. We'll find him but right now we need to leave before... `They` get back in.

(It. happened. a-freking-gain.) Just ignore the first part of what Puzzle said.

Puzzle: *nudges Moth* How much does it hurt? We need to move quickly...

Puzzle: *hesitates* We'll tell you when we get out. *supports Moth using their shoulder* Come on, we need to go now.

(Poor Moth...) Puzzle: *nearing the window, moving quickly at the sound of scraping metal behind them*

???: *appears to the side of Poppy, grinning madly* heLLO THERE. THOUGHT IT WAS NICE TO LIE, HUH, DARLING? *opens mouth to reveal layers upon layers of glowing, red fangs, each layer getting brighter toward the center*

(*shrugs* Idk...) Puzzle: *Pushes ??? away forcefully, kicking at their jaws until ???'s head flew back into one of the seats* Go go go! *runs after Poppy and Moth* ???: *laughing manically*

(back) ???: *regains their posture and rapidly scuttles out the window after the trio, brushing and throwing small silhouettes out of the way as if they were tiny insects, their tail snaking alowing the cracked ground and they continued to get closer to the three* *heaves for air before chuckling madly* Come back, childreeeen~ Come ooonnn~

Puzzle: *dodging around several small shadows* No, I couldn't find him, just a broken lightbulb leaking some black substance-- *skids to a halt as Mystery and Secret rush past them, eyes flashing brightly and their fangs flickering* Mystery: *stopping before ???* *mutters in almost amazement* You are... Secret: *stops beside him and stares at ??? in awe*

???: *instantly stops smiling, their eye slowing in pace before finally stopping at a calming blue hue, every so often switching to a light purple or some other colour, but calmly* *dips his head* Mystery: *dips head in return* Yes we have... Crossed paths before. ???: It's a pleasure to meet you again Mystery. And you, Secret, charming as ever. Secret: *dips her head, her eye still flickering but, like ???, more calmer and slower* You as well. Puzzle: Hey, hey, he just tried to kill us! ???: Don't use the word "He" if you will, it makes me feel uncomfortable. Mystery: Puzzle, Poppy. This is Misfortune... Misfortune: Though I go by many names, its a particular favourite of mine, do you not agree? *eyes Puzzle and Poppy closly but not in the agrressive way they did before*

(I liked it so ^^) Misfortune: *lowers head to the ground, sweeping their tail across the ground behind them* I apologise for my actions, if I had known you were both connected to Mystery and Secret I would've stopped myself... I am truly sorry. *their voice continues to be staticy and they avoid eye contact with the younger ones, making it hard to tell if they are serious* Puzzle: *sucks in a breath* Mys-Mystery, we couldn't find Vague in the train. He'd disappeared. Mystery: *turns sharply back to Misfortune* I hope this wasn't your doing? Misfortune: *still facing the ground, a small but noticable smile creeping onto their dark features* No... I sensed another one but never did I see them.

(the bridge is located in an alternate universe, much smaller than ours and only covering a few miles. Around it are fields and treelines but you have to cross back through a portal or find another way to exit the mini-world to get to another place)

(You can exit this world to another one by dissapearing or using a portal)

Mystery: We haven't seen Vague... Misfortune. *at this the taller demons head perks up* You eye can search all corners of the universe-- Misfortune: With a few blindspots and, incase you've forgotten, I cannot detect other demons-- well I CAN but with difficulty and since Vague is so small it'll be almost impossible. Secret: But you can? Misfortune: *sighs* Maybe. *glares at them all*

Puzzle: *follows Poppy's gaze as the older demons talk, their voices drowned out by the unidentified ringing sound and the quiet rustling of leaves* *takes a hesitant step closer to the log* What's that laying on it?

Puzzle: *gently prods it with his paw*

(What's the point of the plushie if I can ask?) Puzzle: *side eyes Poppy awkwardly*

(I might have to go in a bit, I'll stay for a few more minutes if that's okay?)

Puzzle: *glances back at Mystery and Secret who still stand with Misfortune, his eye darting to and fro* Hey, dad? Someone might have dropped this... Should we take it back to the kids? Misfortune: *cocks head in interest, though still searching for Vague*
