Linkaight so im pissed about somethin.
do me a favor, look in the recent animations tab. how many do you see that are tweened or mostly tweened compared to hand drawn?
yeah.
where's the effort anymore? the hours i put into all of my hand-drawn animations over the course of this profile apparently are nothing to a tween animation that took like, two hours max. why are the tweeners getting so much credit for rotating an arm or two? why can't i get a dumb feature for, maybe something that several people have feature reported and has 80+ likes on, maybe? something hand-drawn? about seven seconds long? took seven hours total? features a specific green plant dragon? has more heart in it than doodlekid's first feature ever had?
what do you bet that if i took two hours maybe to make some dumb tweening animation then it would get featured within like, ten minutes, huh? i mean, look at angrykid, his last two anims were featured IN LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. im not even kidding when i say that when they had popped

I’m not defending them, but fa might feature some tweening shit cause he’s like “oMg thEy aLl tween sO nIcE” and maybe he’s surprised..?

Linkit doesn't make it any better. good artists and good animators are being ignored just because blue ***** is all starry-eyed over a couple of bobbing heads and rotating arms.

LinkBut I do agree with you. That green dragon thing was one of the best lip sinc and smooth animation I’ve ever seen. That needs a feature.

I'm starting to get a bit pissed myself, but myself, I'm only a bystander.
Tweening is just animating lazy Frame by frame is when you really ANIMATE
i talked about this but i believed i deleted it.
now, its not like we need to put any effort anymore, which sucks.
2018 features normally got a star because they had time and effort put into it.
but now? just make anything and it'll get featured ONLY if flipanim likes it.

Honestly i do agree with you. Though there are some really impressive tweening animations, most are the same. In my opinion i too am kinda salty, and yeah now that FA just basically features anything because some kids will feature report anything, it basically "clogs" it up for the people who do deserve it. But thats just me.
And like i said before it seems like FA has like a ****ing Nintendo fetish and only features things in that said "area" which i find unfair.
But why the **** do i care anything can be featured lemme make a ****ing link drawing and it'll be featured
I can agree with you on this one. Tweening gets too much credit. I really don’t tween unless it is a shitpost, I find it more prideful to hand draw anime rather than just move them.
I don’t really care for features thou. FA is fine. I don’t really care for them, but having one would be nice.
yeah. in all honesty i could live without a feature, i'm just mad because i put hours into my work, losing sleep, missing out on school work, sometimes missing time with friends to work on them, and yet some 3-second tweening animation gets all the attention when, after i've sacrificed my precious, limited time, im still in the tweener's shadows despite my efforts.
TBH you took the words right out of my mouth. There are some good tweening anims like Angrykid's or SomedayWeWillBeFrog's tweens, but most of them are, well 3 second lazy, half ass crap.
I know! Sure tweening is great sometimes but it shouldn’t take more credit than actual hand drawn animations
