Shoe grew up beside the waterfall. She learned to catch the small fish in it, eating them raw. She was constantly alone, but she knew that could make her be someone else’s next meal. Shoe trained nonstop, honing her magic skills every day.
By age 6, she had mastered 4 spell classes. Fire, water, grass, and earth. Around that time she had also had her first battle, a wind-born attacked her. She had only been able to win by playing dead, then drowning him with water magic. This still left her severely wounded, and dying. That didn’t matter as much to her, as Shoe realized how much someone’s death could shake her.
By age 8, she could no longer survive by eating the small fish, for the portions kept her in a constant state of fatigue. By that time, she had mastered another 4 spells, lava, crystal, wind, and ice. She started hunting for other things such as rabbits, but to no avail. She had to hunt for people. Shoe’s first hunt was barely successful... (continuing to next comment)
She impaled someone with a large crystal, then impaled them with 8 icicles. Before she could eat it, 3 powerful wizards tried to steal it away. She outran them, but was even more wounded than before. She recovered more quickly with knowledge of healing spells....
Slowly but surely, her fighting skills got better. She was able to eat without any injuries. And by age 13, she had mastered all common and uncommon spells (refer to spells list) and had even mastered Light.
By age 15, she met “Pretty”, a shadow creature, and they grew up together. By age 21, Shoe decided to storm the castle, and succeeded. She almost ended up killing the general, but her helmet was knocked off, and Shoe remembered what her mother did. Shoe locked her up for the time being, and Pretty assumed the throne (temporarily). Later, Shoe and her mother (revealed to be Oreo) had caught up on everything that had happened. There is much more to Shoe’s story, but the narritive shifts to another person’s point of view at this time.
Note: Shoe DOES become a mother, and her daughter refers to both her and Pretty as “mom”, but Shoe and Pretty did NOT get together, neither characters are gay or bisexual, and Shoe’s daughter was adopted.
