My discord bff just deleted their account. I feel so, so guilty.

I had made one of my closest friends on discord a mod in my server. She wanted to fool around and started messing with other people's roles. Someone got really mad. I tried to tell her not to do it again, and then she just went offline. After a while, my friend left all the servers she and I were both in. I've tried direct messaging so many times-

I should have told the other person to not get overly pissed about a role prank- but the other person kept saying I shouldn't give my best friend another chance.

I don't know why all of a sudden she just left. I told her to not do it again and she got defensive like: "what? It was just a joke, you don't need to get personal about it." It makes me feel really guilty because i actually didn't realize that my friend was hurt when I decided i wasn't giving her a second chance.

I feel like a total jerk right now. If I had realized that I had hurt my friend- I would have tried to talk to them instead of leaving them alone to "think about it:
