---- Lore ---- The Atrir's stories began on a planet, far, far away. They were plunged into a great war, with an unknown race. The Atrir fought long and hard, through lots of bloodshed and death. It eventually came down to a few, the last Egg Guardians, Shamans, and Elders. They took refuge underground, in the dark, sacred lands. In a tedious effort, the Shamans, one by one, egg by egg, teleported them all. When the Atrir opened their eyes, they saw a mysterious world. It buzzed with unknown life. Filled with hope, they marched, searching to make a new home. Eventually, they settled, in a dense forest. The Atrir lived and died. Eggs hatched and grew. Tribes formed and grew.

News of new creatures eventually spread, exciting the curious youngsters of one group. They explored to where the creatures had been reported. The young Atrirs peeked through the bushes. They curiously watched the beings, excitedly trying to copy their movements. The supervising Atrir suddenly realized how beneficial the stances would be. The young Atrir had stood upright, waddling around unsteadily. The stances would be helpful for all kinds of things. The older Atrir gathered the young, and joyfully took them home. The Atrir told the others his discovery. They began to practice the movements, discovering more and more. Their stances and legs adapted, eventually coming to how they are today. They kept teaching their young how to walk, and do many human like things.
