LinkThose goddamn people are at my doorstep again. Can they ever learn to leave me alone? Don't they realize I'm not the only person they can question? Gianna's sitting up in a hospital bed probably begging for someone to throw her a bone after what she did, why's everyone coming to me?
I opened the door to peek through the crack and see which nosy assholes were visiting this time. I couldn't recognize them. Sighing, I opened the door and scowled at them. "What?" They seemed a bit taken aback by my tone. Whatever. Maybe if I scare them off they won't come back.
"Do you mind answering our questions about a rack of skulls we found in the base, if you know what it is? It won't take too long." The reporter asked. I nodded, and the cameraman started recording, pointing the camera up to my face.
"Yes, I know what it is.. but I swear to Arceus, you people come to my house again, I'm gonna shove that stupid nosy camera right up your ass. Don't ****ing film my face.." I said gruffly. I was sick and tired of all t

Linkthe cameras. Didn't help I had almost no desire to take care of myself anymore and constantly looked like shit. Yeah, sure, everyone wants to be on TV and go "Hi Ma!!" or whatever and have that five seconds of fame. But me? I honestly couldn't wait for when the reporters inevitably came back and bug me again so I had an excuse to invert their knees. Can't say I didn't warn them.
The reporters looked to each other and, hesitantly, he lowered the camera.
I started to speak. "One of the fusions, Salad, was a very deadly killer. Anything she could, she killed and ate it until there was nothing but bones. A lot of times I had to witness it with my own eyes. That funny little rack with all the skulls? Her 'trophies'." Brief memories of seeing her finish off her victims flashed in my head. I winced. As a punishment once, she killed and ate one of my Pokemon. My Manectric.

I snarled. "How the **** do you expect me to know? What, a sixth sense? Leave me alone. I answered your one question, now get off my property." I grabbed a nearby half-empty bottle of alcohol and drank as much as I could without stopping. "You have until I finish this to **** off!" The door slammed behind me, and I looked into the window.
The cameraman hurriedly stopped the recording and the two ran off like they were being chased. Good. They probably would be chased if they didn't leave faster.
I sighed tiredly and pulled the blinds down. Turning around, I spotted Negative and Saturn on the couch. The Luxurkitree had his tail wrapped around the small Flaaffy, who seemed to be asleep. I sat down next to him, trying not to disturb her too much.
"How's she doing..? Still worked up about Atlas?" I asked. We both hesitated as we saw her flinch in her sleep.

He had a point, I couldn't deny that. But it's not like that helped me feel any better. "Poor girl.." I petted her head softly. "She doesn't deserve this. Her life's been hell, she's done her best to stay as positive as she can.."
Negative smiled a little and looked back down to the sheep in his care. "She's a little like you, if I'm being honest.."
"Heh, heh.. yeah, I guess so." I scratched behind her ear, then stood up and looked back to him. "You want anything? I don't want you to wake her up."
"No, no. I'm fine. But, thank you. You're a really great guy for letting us stay here." Negative said, resting his head on the cushion. Almost as soon as he did, Saturn stretched out, nuzzling him subconsciously. He purred a little.

Linkfinishing up the kibble I had given him before those nosy ****s showed up at my door. Immediately after I walked in and opened the fridge, he leaped up and shut it. I looked over to him, annoyed. He had an eyebrow raised.
"Are you going to get food, or another beer?" He asked. Quizzical little *****.
"Food." I answered. He took his paw off the fridge and I grabbed a bottle out of the fridge, popped off the cap and drank it.
He looked pretty pissed at that. "Put the bottle down, dammit. There's a child in the house." Otto jumped up and grabbed the bottle in his jaws, rushed over to the sink and started pouring it down the drain. I lunged to stop him, but he just moved, and I fell stomach-first onto the floor.
By the time I was up the bottle was empty. He threw it in the recycling bin. I scoffed and went to open the fridge for another.

That made me mad. That made me really mad. I turned to him, slamming the fridge shut. I could hear Saturn's waking yelp in the other room amidst the clatter of bottles inside the fridge.
"Don't you dare compare me to him. You know exactly what he was like, you were there. I am nothing like him."

Oh, what a *****. He should know best I'm nothing like him. He was abusive, he was almost never there. He loved the bartender more than he loved me. At least I'm ****ing trying. What, is housing him, feeding him, keeping him alive not enough? My dad never did that for me. The only times he ever moved was to get another beer from the fridge. I'm not like that. He's just mad he's not the poster child of the house anymore..

Oh, sometimes I just wished she'd have killed me. I hate everything. As soon as I think everything's over and I can finally live a happy life that I had been working for on my own for years as a child, I turn my head and suddenly I'm being followed by a cult, of all things! And when I finally gain the courage to stand up for myself after another long few years, I'm rewarded with endless questions and pestering and goddammit, I can't be left alone! What's next, a revival? Salad's out on the loose?
Someone knocked on the door. I was surprised I heard it, it was so soft. I sat up, and opened it. I knew it would be Saturn. Nobody else in the house knocked..
"Hey.." I started. Her lavender eyes gazed up at me sleepily. "Look, I'm sorry I woke you-"
She didn't say anything, but wandered past me and into my room. I didn't stop her. She leaped up onto the bed, and sat down, looking to me. She patted to the spot next to her, and I went to go sit down.

Linklegs and poked me in the chest. I was a bit confused before she spoke. "You are a good person, okay?"

"No." I shrugged tiredly.
She pouted. "Why not?"
I swear, if ghosts exist, I would've guessed Atlas was about to smack me if I mentioned alcohol to his daughter. I just decided to stay silent.
"You are giving me and Neggy a home.. which means, you're good!" She smiled, and hugged me.
I chuckled a little. I could see why Saturn was so important to Atlas. "Okay, fine, I'm good." I said, patting her on the head.
