yeah i get very defensive when it comes to countries i like ;-;

fun fact: In the Netherlands people are major rule followers, in one case a group of dutch people stopped a guy from robbing a bank because 'your breaking the law sir, that is not allowed.'

Also, dutch kids are taught from a young age to be direct when it comes to talking about people and to never lie to anyone. That is the reason why if a dutch person doesnt like you, they will say it to your face because they consider it the 'polite' way :)

as you can tell, my mom has tried to raise me the dutch way. But, im not that much of a rule-follower, but i do have a 'dutch personality and preferences'

XD you should really try stroopwafels though. They are the best thing besides coffee :)
