The flower shop Ryan usually worked at had been closed for the past few days, but today it was open, and someone was bustling away inside.
Inside the shop was a Serpentine.
Dark, with orange horns, she wore an apron and her long tail curled around her.
"I work here," she apologized.
"I take care of the shop when the owner's gone."
"Oh!"
Her bright green eyes opened in realization.
"You're the boy he talks about so much!"
"Of course!"
Her tail swished excitedly.
"When he isn't talking about flowers, it's always you."

"I'm assuming you two are dating?"
She slithered over to the shop door and flipped the sign around to closed.
"I'm surprised you didn't freak out when you saw me," she remarked.
"Most people do."
Rio-well then maybe they have to take a time and think of they would like people freaking out at them *he just waters a flower*
"Oh, hello!"
Luna waved, smiling.
"There's no such thing as a bad time, only time. What's up?"
"I didn't have any family."
He tail flicked sadly.
"I was abandoned as an egg."
Rio-;-; *here comes his emotions*well you werent the only one abandoned.
"It's harder, growing up a snake. No one wants to let you in schools, or hire you."
Swallowing nervously, her tongue flickered.
"Ryan raised me," she muttered.
Rio-sooooooooooooooo your like his kid? *his eyes widen as he gets shocked*
Rio-wait what? *he looks confused*
Sain-OH OK RIO lets go-
Rio-no wait!
"Although technically, he did take care of my egg so I am his kid? Kinda?"
Luna just stood there with a very confused look on her face.
"Wait, why are you leaving?"
Sain-im starving ;w; *her stomach rumbles*
Rio-of course you are *he gets mad*
"There's no need, I can take you guys out for lunch."
She slithered around to the back, hanging up her apron, and coming back out.
"There's a nice pizza place down the block."

Rio-does not speak as they walk there ,he still thinking about the KID*
"Luna! Rio!"
Ryan's familiar voice called out as they rounded the corner, and he rushed forward and scooped the three into a hug.
"Sorry, Sain," Ryan laughed sheepishly, releasing them.
He kissed Rio quickly, and smiled at all of them.
sain-WHEEZE * its fine-
Rio-his cheeks turn pink but hes still in a bad mood*
"Is something wrong?"
Ryan frowned slightly, and almost as if on cue, Luna piped up.
"We'll go ahead inside."
Rio-well you didnt tell me you had a sister-well technically a KID *his eyes look narrowed*
"You mean..Luna?"
He laughed quietly.
"She's not my kid. I found her egg when I was little, I helped raise her. She's my friend."
Rio-well she explained to me that shes your sister?*he looked at him*
"Because she imprinted on me?"
His hand traveled from at his sides to lightly brushing his finger tips against Rio's hand.
Rio-whats that supposed to mean??*his cheeks are flustered as in they are pink uwu*
"I was the first thing she saw, so technically I am a dad to her."
He entwined his fingers with the other's, gripping his hand.
"No, wait!"
He reached out and grabbed his hand before he could leave, pulling him back and close enough to touch chests.
Rio-looks ****ing confused *

Ryan placed his right hand on Rio's hips, and using his left, titled his head and pulled him close, kissing him softly.
"Were you worried?"
Ryan spoke quietly, only loud enough for him to hear.
Rio-first of all i had no clue who she was and just saw her-then i had no clue where you were then she starts saying shit that you never told me-after then you start telling me but now shes your kid??
"I..."
His voice trailed off, and he stared down at his shoes.
After a long pause, he finally spoke.
"I'm not good at opening up, ok?"
He sniffled, attempting to hide the fact he was crying.
Ryan just stood there with his hands at his sides, not speaking or hugging him back.
Breathing heavily, Ryan backed up against the wall, sliding down and attempting to calm down.
Ryan shook his head 'no', his chest heaving.
"Its just a panic attack, I'm fine," he squeaked.
"No."
He inhaled deeply, placing his hand on his chest.
"I think I'm gonna pass out."
"Can't.. breathe..."
He attempted to stand, flickering in and out of consciousness, stumbling.
"Hey look, titan arum," he muttered, and his knees completely buckled and he fell.
