Rae slinked away from the den and out of camp," Gosh everyone hates me." She muttered. She sat by some bushes and played with a leaf. Fall was setting in, the air was getting cool and the forest was turning red and gold.

Rae stopped playing. Her ears flew up. It was far away but a slight vibration was in the ground making the pebbles jump. Rae's body grew still....before leaping into the woods...to the rumbling.

The vibration grew louder as Rae flew through the woods. Just a blur of white. She leaped and flipped over rocks and logs with ease all while the vibration grew into a loud rumble making the whole forest shake.

The whole forest was shaking violently now. Rae's mind was blank all she knew was that she needed to run. Run. A tree fell right before her eyes but she just leaped and practically flew over it. She stopped, barely winded and stared; her blue eyes wide as she took in the scene.

Before them was a large black vehicle. Shiny and tall many metal arms came off of the body...one of which had a gun. And that gun was pointing at Rae. Rae stepped forward. In a trance, mumbling something under her breath. The gun gave off a low whistle, flash of silver.

A dart was sticking from her chest. She swayed on the spot," O-oscar..?" She whispered. She fell, eyes rolling in the back of her head.

The vehicle roared to life with a scream and raced after them. Darts flew after them, whistle after whistle. The trees bent under the large wheels of the truck crunching like twigs.

The screaming of the vehicle didn't leave for a long time. Rae was still motionless but according to cookie was still alive, just asleep. Her breathing was shallow though.. and her face was twisted into a look of pain.

Night was creeping over the forest now, Rae still wasn't awake. Her look of pain turned into full on screaming in terror," NO NO PLEASE STOP! NO!" She rolled, withered and twisted screaming at some other being whiten her dreams.

Rae's breathing became even quicker and shallower," She's dying Oscar..." Cookie whispered," She won't last much longer if this keeps going."

" Oscar..." Cookie sighed and laid a paw on his shoulder," I can't do anything," He closed his eyes before he continued," Let her go."

Rae's eyes split open...only barely," I-I-i-i..." She rasped. Her mouth was barely open and her chest was heaving.

" I'm going to d-d-die Oscar..." She coughed, flakes of blood speckled her crystal bed. Her eyes closed again she she heaved out a great sigh.

She opened her eyes again, a little quicker this time. " Oscar... I saw... things in my dreams. I saw my family....Oscar they trapped them their using them." She went into another coughing fit. " You need to save them Oscar." She put a paw on his arm," Please..."

Rae smiled slightly before shutting her eyes once more. Only this time she didn't open them. She looked peaceful even.

Cookie watched over Rae. She seemed to still be breathing, slowly but she was still alive.
