By 1939 a super power Germany had conquered smaller countries like Austria, checkoslovokia, hungry and others the allied powers of France and Britain didn’t even protest until Germany threatened to invade Poland the allies swore that any attack on Poland would mean war yet the Germans went and invaded Poland anyway starting ww2 though the first few months would come to be known as the finely war where both sides say around and did nothing
