this is based on a true story that makes me feel really angry and annoyed.

friends... tell me. do you care that my hair can be slightly messy at times? my grandma says she is preparing me for the real world where I have to look as beautiful as I possibly can at all times. and I'm at her house. staying inside. with a cold. I don't have to look good. she says that when I grow up and when I meet new people, they won't want to talk to me if my hair looks messy. I wanted to show her my animations that I worked hard on and she is being immature and refuses to watch them if my hair doesn't look perfect. at times after I finally gave in, I would come out of the bathroom and she would say "ehhhhh? It doesn't look perfect, I think I see a stray hair over here, go back in and don't come out until you look good." It can destroy someone's self esteem and make them feel worthless. I'm old enough to know that looks don't matter but she still says my hair looks bad. sorry, just needed to rant about this animation.

lol I just told her that I'm ugly and I hate myself to see what happens. she said "no! you're not." then I said "AND MY HAIR IS TOO LONG!" and she said. "your hair is beautiful if you brush it. right now it looks like a rats nest!" and I started fake crying even harder. :(

she didn't actually cut me out of her life, she just refused to watch my animations until my hair was completely brushed.
