Linkexplain my child
Remember two years ago?
When there wasn't much drama, and there was lots of active community?
When you got more then two comments?
When there was loads of effort filled art?
It's the downfall of social media; It begins well, as a close knit community, as art and friendship.
But then it grows; And as it grows that community and art dies, and is replaced by trends and drama.
As the good people leave in search of places that hasn't yet lost it's community.
As less effort is made.
As less friends are made.
As more trends are made.
As more drama is made.
And that, my friends, is the death of social media, born from it's life.
It's true, in all honesty.
Like you have people putting in so much effort into something and they realize- "what's the point when no one's going to look at it, no one's going to like it, or compliment it," and people are in so much fear of saying or doing something that it's going to cause drama or-- people who DO cause drama want to get a kick out of someone's reaction that it drives everyone away from what was once a stable and fun community to one that's grown toxic. And they take pride in it, that's why they keep doing it.
Sorry, I'm just repeating what you said, huh.
It's sad to think about it.
I miss my friends.
