you just subtract 18.73 by 5.2, then you add the negative back to the answer.

I'm just going to say that it might not work with all of the questions on the assignment, depending on if it is negative or not.
Ah, i'm doing this in school. here's an example to try and help a little!
2 x (30 + 20) = a
Step 1 in Order of Operations
Parentheses () mean you ALWAYS have to do that part first, or you will mess up the problem.
(30 + 20) = a

30 + 20 = 50
now, put the 50 and the 2 in a math problem including times.
2 x 50 = 100
So, a = 100
Try doing this, except with your math problem! //^w^//
