They look better on paper
the fingers seem a bit too short while the thumb's too long and they also all seem a bit too fat? try making the fingers longer and a bit thinner and also spread them out just a little bit when it's gripping onto something

I don't think I could do better with making the fingers skinny
They're usually skinny when I draw them on paper

thats ok! hands on older males have thicker fingers but it just looks a little off because things feel too round??? idk if thats the riht way to describe it but yea
like looking at the hands holding onto things the fingers are oval shaped which looks a little odd
