but i like the games and im somebody whos played just about all of them and beat them I like pokemon alot and its a franchise ive liked since i was real little

so tell me why i pop back into pokemon and see zA and its genuinely a bad game

like i thought we learnt after scarlet

scarlet wasnt even bad tbh it was just buggy

how do we get one of the greatest games oat in just abt every aspect (pokemon legends arceus) and we drop this very well established formula for just a big city

im not complaining about designs or characters i think thats all fine and if you hate on mega starmie your a loser who doesnt like fun

we did not expand one bit btw

the thing i do like is the new battle system

real time battles are something i really like but i also sometimes just wish i was in normal turn based cuz in real time some bs can happen that comes out of literally nowhere

if its just in turn-based my faults are entirely my own and it feels alot more like strategic ig this is a similar problem i have with ff7 remakes combat

i think my favorite turn based combat system (YES THIS IS ANOTHER CHANCE TO GUSH AT MOTHER ENCORE) is mother encores cuz it takes the little visual element of the mother series' timer looking healthbars and actually makes it a part of the gameplay making your health gradually decrease to the damaged health and it allows for some really fast paced exchanges and it feels so frantic its so much fun

But back to Za tell me why this tutorial is SO GOD DAMN LONGlike dawg what were they thinking

Ik that’s not the best complaint but we’ve had good tutorials I get why it’s long it’s a new system and all but dude it’s not as complex as you think it’s not skylanders where it’s straight babies and you need to point them to every little point and literally call them out for being little talking bout some “young portal master”

i havent either but za is just one zone and that genuinely baffles me im not counting the "wild zones" its just one big zone

thats one of the main things that irks me like they def couldve made a interesting city open world but they did nothing with it
