Linkso, at night, ill get really tied but when i go to bed i cant sleep. iv laied there for like 3 hours before, i read before bed to make me more sleepy but i still lay there for a long time.
any one have ideas to help fall asleep?
#1 Lower your room temperature
#2 Use a breathing method (deep breaths are best)
#3 Get a schedule
#4 Avoid looking at a clock
#5 Avoid naps
#6 Listen to relaxing music!
#7 Get comfy
#8 Turn off ALL electronics
#9 Read something
#10 Try and force yourself to stay awake (makes you more tired)
#11 Think of happy things

As a person that has sleeping troubles often, I found asmr is the best solution for me-
I also like to have everything I might need by my bed so I don't have to get up and waste time-
Get a weighted blanket or a fluffy blanket and place it over your duvet-
Gather some comfy squishy pillows and place them around you because it helps you sleep-
Also use some noise cancelling headphones while you listen to asmr-

Yes I know, it's Korean BUT-
It has affirmations in it and those send a message to your brain and help you sleep easier-
It's also really calming and comforting-

Umm don't nap. Some people say phrases or count sheep to fall asleep it doesn't help me though.I always drink water before I sleep, idk if that actually helps but I've been sleeping good.

or put some relaxing music, I always sleep with relaxing music with nature sounds lol
Ok ok I have insomnia so I use a lot of tactics.
- Read (U already do lol).
- Use a breathing method (search up sleeping breathing exercises or smth).
- Pretend to be asleep.
- Get really comfy.
- If you have any fears (eg. The Dark) defeat themmmm (like turning on a night light or smth).
- Listen to music (I listen to music for half an hour before I go to sleep) just make sure it's nothing like rock.
- Get some fresh air (eg. Go outside before bed or sleep with a window open).
- Think of happy times or thoughts.
- Say night to your parents properly.
- Remove devices from room (it reduces temptation).
- Try not to go on a device about 30 mins before bed.
- Try to have a clock next to your bed or in your room.
- Try to have some water next to your bed and drink some before sleep.
- Try to have a real plant in your room (you get more oxygen and get more relaxed).
- Look through the window at the stars (it helps me for some reason).
