Almost every dark entity has a melee weapon. It can be anything, from brass knuckles to giant hammers. The only time when one doesn’t have a melee weapon is when they have telekinesis abilities, like Sydney, the first Dark Entity, Candy (after dying and being reborn as a dark entity [she’s been bad]), and Redring develops these abilities much later in the stories, but keeps their machete given the fact that they’re only part Dark Entity.
