Linki ant to make a trans character but i dont wana be insensitive or anything. how should i go about it
Uhh make a character, say they’re trans, but don’t make it their whole personality
Don't make ith their whole personality, if you wanna add details/discussion on it don't make them over enthusiastic about discussing it but don't make them overly upset about it either. Kinda just neutral abt it 🤷‍♂️
Everyone has a dif experience with being trans so it's difficult to give direct advice
Yeah I get it, but honestly it's inevitable that someone is, it's a shit thing w the lgbtq community that a lot of people expect a character with their identity to experience it the exact way they do and get pissy about it
You can't cater to everyone, so just make a character that is a character and isn't entirely consumed by their identity or fitting to everyone else y'know
there aren't different qualities to making a trans character, it's the same as designing a cis character but they just so happen to be trans. unless you wanna give them something like surgery scars
