Avatar was born in Canada on July 27, 2002, to Geo Picasso and Gem Picasso. She lived in Ottawa, Quebec until her parents got in a car accident in 2015, just days after her 13th birthday. She went to live with her grandparents in Quebec City. They moved to a nursing home in 2018 and Avatar became owner of their house. She is 18 years old as of 2020 and does online learning at McGill University. She studies medicine.
