That's basically like saying, "Hey! You didn't do your schoolwork. What're you doing, trying to stay sane? Trying to keep yourself alive? Prioritizing your life? School is more important than your mental well-being. You can stop being in extreme pain and suffering once your missing assignments are turned in."
