Can we really be authentic? Hmm yeah! BUT I think (my theory) that morals, norms and laws can stop others (not all) from being truly ‘authentic.’ For example!! Take a look at bob: Bob has a wild side… In which, jumps around and eats humans, but societal norms (and laws) prevent him from acting on that. So, he suppresses that side of himself and behaves "normally," or at least not a wild man. Which is technically considered as being ‘inauthentic’. It's like he's following the norms instead of being true to who he is. But people won’t always be the same. Maybe Bob won’t have this ‘wild man personality’ inside of him in the future. This doesn’t mean laws, norms, morals, etc. are bad!! It’s a theory that I made between morals and authenticity. You can still be as authentic as you can :)

I hate this way of thinking but also slightly like it. sorry if the examples and texts are confusing- I wrote this while I was sick in bed with a fever.

Alsooo… I feel like you can be as authentic as you want on FA. Mostly because FA itself seems to be inactive or on vacation, so that means there aren't any rules for now (unless they come back). However, as users, we still have our own morals and norms. So, if someone behaves weirdly (aka groomers and stuff), some of us (users) calls them out. Although FA can’t ban the user that’s been called out IF FA isn’t active or on.
