lemme type children

Okay, so I was watching Scare PewDiePie of YT Red and I came across the third episode which is one of my favorites but this time I noticed stuff that no one else seemed to notice. Okay so it was based off of a really old house, maybe from the early 1800s or so. How did the house have ventilation? Literally, behind the snake in the chair if you pause it is a vent in the wall when the house is supposed to be so old that it's falling apart. Also I know it was a set and not a real house but they could have at least given it some kind of roof. If he were to look up in the living room and see all of the lights and everything it would have ruined the episode.
