Link,,
For Karizma (when you see this)
Now that ive heard and seen what youve gone through and how people hurt you i now understand why you tired to ,,, "help" me the way you did. I can see you got secondhand pain from the harrassment i got and understand completely how you wouldn't want my fate to turn out the same.
Our only difference is, I've been IDing as a lesboy for pretty much over a year now, I've received my fair share of hate and backlash for publicly IDing as such, but nevertheless I stand and use this label with pride and ignore everyone who insists I am wrong.
Also also unrelated to all of this but u asked about me being annoyed i was being misgendered and everyone got really confused?
so I had said specifically I wasn't a trans man, that i prefered trans guy or trans boy and everyone got really heated and went "MAN IS A SYNONYM OF BOY & GUY" which is true of course, but everyone's experience is different. an example is of how many transfems feel "dude" and "guy" is misgendering even if theyre widely seen as gender neutral terms, its because for them, the terms make them uncomfortable, or they feel wrong.
I may be a trans guy but thay doesn't mean i'm comfortable with all of the terms associated to or similar to boy or guy
being called a man makes me uncomfortable because ive seen it used in a negative light more than a positive one and also because i feel as if it doesn't fit me as a person, im just a little guy :]
being called a male however makes me feel uncomfortable because to me, male is the biological sex and I don't want to be seen as a biological male. This is the same reason i dislike the term male lesbian and prefer to use lesboy
I'm glad u now understand the hell I was trying to relieve you from, and I now understand what you mean by not wanting to be refered to as a MAN but as a boy/guy
I was confused because you were directing your anger at me when I hadn't done anything wrong besides attempt to educate you, which might've come off as a bit sarcastic or maybe rude, which I'm sorry if it DID come off as that
That being said, I do support lesboys! That is, when the term is being used carefully and respectfully (and correctly), I myself have a lot more to learn about the term, and will get back to you when I understand it more fully.
again, sorry for how much hate that post gained, seriously you didn't deserve all that
