Looking at it in a scientific way, it would only increase the chance of someone having better chances with the opposite gender because of less competition.
But mostly it's like

Like religion yeah sure thats fine, religion exists, but people who believe in certain things don't need to shove it in other people's faces. I mean I'm Christian, and I don't really care if a guy likes a guy, or a girl likes a girl, like its just love.
