there’s a lot of artwork and interactions that I had on this website that I don’t look back on very fondly (never due to anyone else, I was just a naive and awkward person lol), however I owe so much to flipanim. It’s what introduced me to digital art and really helped me grow as an artist. While I still cringe at some of my old art I’ve recently found a lot of hope in looking back; I’m very proud of how far I’ve come

I also have loved seeing other beginner artists on this site flourish throughout the years and getting to interact with them; I really regret abandoning the site once I started my tumblr, and I wish I weren’t as antisocial because some of yall are really neat and I would’ve loved interacting more!!!

It was nice returning to flipanim every once in a while to post some of my miscellaneous thoughts and complaints because it was a nice empty void to scream into, but I wish I had taken more time to really enjoy the site and interact with more people… so that kind of sucks
