LinkYour oc had worked in one of opticas labs for a while now. no matter how much you tried to prove that you were ready to be sent to the real lab and not the cover operations they just wouldn't pay attention so you just decided to give up.
one day, however, you were told that you finally were being sent to one of the main labs to gather some information. you went in though instead of taking you to the labratories they took you to a dark, cave like room. all you were giving was a remote and some needle and was told "get some dna samples" before being locked in.
Although pretty dark and narrow you squeezed around the cave system to try and find what you were meant yo find when you saw it. there was some tall, glowing humanoid shape in the dark with a collar around its neck. you didnt even get to react before it snarled and charged at you, wwyd

-Ruby gasped and then grabbed her small taser and planted it against the creature once it was close enough.-
-Ruby backed away and then gave it a light tap on its head. "No! You don't do that, you naughty creature!" She scolded them. "But im sorry for having to tase you.. all I need is a DNA sample from you. Do you think you can cooperate?" She asked, not even knowing if they could understand.-
-Ruby only gently tapped them on the head again. A gentle sign of discipline, compared to the taser.-
-Ruby smiled gently and took the creatures arm. "It's going to sting a little.. but it'll be over soon. Your big and strong, im sure it wont hurt you, right?" She said with a giggle, like a nurse encouraging a child getting a shot. She placed the needle and pricked it in, before pulling a bit of blood and taking it out. She then wiped where she remembered where she pricked them and put a bandage on it. "There! All done, see?" She said.-
-Ruby sighed silently. She put away the needle. "Don't worry, there wont be anymore. Not as far as I know." She said. She then reached in her pocket and pulled out a little candy. She unwrapped it and handed it to them. "Here! A treat, since you did so well!" She said with a smile.-
-She giggled as she watched. Then she turned away. "I have to go now. Bye bye! ..I hope to see you again." She said as she looked at the creature with a sad smile.-
-She started going back the way she came, and grabbed her ID card to let herself out.-
-Ruby gasped and turned over to look at them and she gently pushed them back and away from the door. "Oh!" Was all she could say in her moment of surprise.-
-Ruby flinched as she started to bleed a little but she gently checked them in case they were injured on any other place from the shock.*
-She sighed. She'd just see her cuts in a bit. "Please dont go near the door.. I dont want you to be shocked again." She pleaded with it, gently petting its head.-
-She smiled gently. "Dont worry, I'll try and ask them to be the one to check and take care of you here.." She said as she stood and walked away to the door, she had left another candy there with them too. Once outside she closed the door and went to find the scientist or person who asked for the DNA.-
-Ruby smiled at them. "Im fine, They were just surprised by the fact I tased them by accident." She said as she took out the DNA and handed it to the scientist.-
-She tilted her head. "Last time?" She had a curious look in her eyes, though nearly a full adult, she still had the characteristics of a child, out in the light, you could see her eyes, wide and gentle, a neat little necklace around her neck, her darkish light purple hair with darker streaks of purple outlining the ends. Her face was a gentle round and she had nice tanned skin.-
"oh did they not tell you-? that remote was giving for a reason" they paused before speaking* "We used to have a scientist that checked up on them daily- along with the other specimens here. but he uh.." they rubbed the back of their neck* "they came in to help them when the collar glitched and well- didnt come out"
-She blinked and nodded. "I see. Well.. I'd still like to offer to be the one to check on them." She said as she then gave a carefree smile.-
-She fixed her headband a bit as she waited. She clasped her hands together behind her. 'I wonder what happened to that scientist.?' She whispered quietly to herself.-
-She looked at them and smiled brightly. "Great! When do I start?"-
-time skip-))
-Ruby arrived soon enough. Her hair was neatly combed and she smiled birghtly.-
-Ruby turned to the growl as she blinked. She had brought a few papers. "You're here." She said.-
-She smiled and walked over to them and gently pat their head. "Its nice to see you!" She said cheerfully.-
-She smiled. "Im glad you like them!" She said as she pat their head gently.-
-She sighed. "It must be irritating huh? I know.. sadly I cant do anything or else I'll get fired." She said as she looked at the collar.-
-She hummed. and sat down on the ground. "All I have to do now is take care of you until my shift is over!" She says.-

Felix: ?! *presses remote*
*Felix didn't know how the people had expected him to take a sample while the thing tried attacking him*
*Once Felix was over there, he tried to attempt taking the sample but did it gently*
Felix: *hands them the sample* `` It was a little hard to get since it did attempt to attack me once though ``
*Felix's ends of his ears kinda shown from under the hat he was wearing to hide them*
Felix: *he looks at where the scientist is and quickly looks back at trojon*
*He pats them just a little after and goes to give the scientist the sample *
*Felix goes in, shutting the door behind him and just hopes to himself the scientist didn't notice his ears had peeked out while he was in there*
*Hes still worrying about them seeing his ears peeking out while he was in there but didn't show it*

*His ear almost flicked which would've had his hat flying, he hid his ears again*
*Once he's done he pats them s little and goes back to where the scientist was*
*They opened the door to the room where the scientist was, shutting the door behind him*
Felix: *looking somewhere else like there is something to occupy the scientist *
*Felix looks around the room, staying in his hiding spot, trying to look for a vent or something*
