Eliza would go up to it slowly and try to make peace with it before picking it up, thinking it's just like her. Cast away and forgotten.
Zombi would flinch and lightly hiss at Eliza. "Wh...Who are you?"
Zombi cautiously walked toward Eliza. "Don't freak out about my brain. It's not infected or anything..."
She smiles gently and pulls him to her lap and starts rubbing him all over.
"Why?" Zombi gets up and looks at her in confusion. "This is probably the worst place to hide. You can see through the walls!" It laughed.
"Well I was going somewhere to hide and I heard you... I didn't want to leave you." She scratches his ear.
Zombi felt safe and happy when it was with Eliza. It had never felt that before. "Wow. That's, um.." Zombi teared up at the fact that someone cared about him. The last time someone cared for him is when he was at the shelter, but they only cared about it because they had a job and they had to do it.

Zombi looked over. "Oh my stars, are you bleeding? There's a first-aid kit in the gym!"
She smiled at him. "I'm fine, it's just because they took my wings."
Zombi's ears flattened again. "Who's they?" Zombi was making sure the wound wasn't infected when something clicked in his (sort of showing) brain. "Are you hiding from...them?" Zombi looked surprised.
