Basically the context of this shitpost is that ever since the beach incident (during the first week of the summer holidays, I fainted on a remote beach in the outer Hebrides twice because of mild hypothermia and low iron) my parents have been constantly reminding me to eat stuff with iron, and Ik they’re doing it bc they care about me, but they won’t even let me go a normal morning without breakfast. What’s the worst that can happen at home. If I faint in my bed, so what? I’m in my bed all day, not on a remote beach with cold wet sand and the nearest ambulance is a half hour away like the beach incident

Tbh it was really scary in the beach tho. I felt weird as soon as I got up from where I was sitting. Kinda nauseous and super tired. My ears were ringing and I knew something wasn’t quite right, so I lay down. My mum told me to stand up so she could pick up the beach mat. My vision started completely fading and I can just remember yelling “I can’t see” before passing out. It was terrifying at the time, but hey, then a dog came along and then I felt happy again because dogs make life good.

Both. They never used to be so overprotective until that one time. And it’s only because I was generally tired and cold at the time that I fainted.
