hey.. uh. if someone directly copies you its not always because it's not super unique or original. people are allowed to have a grievance with those who legitimately false claim their creations.
to be fair though, characters do turn out similar a lot, ive seen a lot of ocs that look like mine, but im self aware that its a common design choice.
Yeah, true that. its sometimes people with lets say a purple cat as an oc, then yeah! That's dumb. But what a character as unique as lets say Kittydog's, thats where most cross the line (same with me). For the people with the metaphorically purple cat oc, add things to it that make it unique, with people straight up copying the metaphoical Kittydog oc, yeah, its a problem. What I think is that they shouldnt get canceled for it.
Most times its a young child that doesnt know what they are doing. either way, I dont (and most dont either) condone harassment towards literally ANYONE.

if your characters look simular, its ok! As long as they arent copying everything about them.
like when i was younger i completely accidentally copied someones design. but, like you SHOULD DO IN THAT SITUATION.. i recognized what i did and redesigned the oc immediately, called myself out about it too. tsk tsk tsk,
