Thats true!! I guess for people it genuinely surprises /or impresses them that someone as young as 10-12 is at a decent level in skill with their hobby more often people learn the process in their work later in their teenage and adult years, so for someone who started so early and became good at their interests peek ppls curiosity and want to praise them for their level of accomplishment so not to be too hard on people who compliment you bc of your decent art at young age

ive gotten compliments like that a lot. makes me think if it would matte if i was older? how high your age is doesnt mean better art.
