Ren and Paper are the same person- just at different times in his life. Ren is a 20 year old male who has infatuated himself with somebody, stalking them and even kidnapping them if they refuse him, in a desperate attempt to find somebody to love other than his previous kidnapper. Paper is a 16 year old who has just gotten away from said kidnapper, he was taken at 13 and as the years went by he gained a very bad case of Stockholm- he missed his kidnapper dearly after being taken home and even when he was getting help to realize what happened was wrong and the person was not good he couldn't help but still think about him in his free time. This eventually led to him being very conflicted and desperate to replace these feelings with feelings for somebody else.
