"There is a centipede in my study. Fat and shiny… way too long. I think it’s here to stay. I was hearing it all night last night… twiddling about the floor, clicking its mandibles together. Sometimes it feels like it wants to hurt me… or maybe it’s just mocking me. I see… myself… my child self… sitting in the corner… he’s in trouble.
