LinkIts kind of a Crystal Gem/Diamond swap au, where the crystal gems are evil and steven is raised to think that the crystal gems's evil ways are okay, and eventually starts to understand what they're doing is wrong when he meets Connie and other humans, which he was otherwise isolated from until he runs away. Also, yes the crystal gems are mentally and slightly physically abusive in this AU
