uhh so most of the water is contaminated by something from a failed industrialized continent. people drink from underground water sources and lakes and rivers i think on the toxic wasteland there are still some nuclear testing labatories and experiment things on general and factories, making it more toxic and animals adapting to it one island is like. planes biome minecraft and people live a primitive life (trapped on the island) one is allied with the factories and is like normal city life rn??? ig

And the reason the stranded island isnt industrialized yet is bc people thought it was too much work to get across the poison, well they can but the equipment is expensive i mean the stranded island there is some clean ocean but on the side to the other islands there's poison and they dont have good ships and maybe a tiny desert thing
