This is going to be my last Mario/Maria drawing for awhile...
Like I said before, I’m not going to draw Mario related content for awhile; that includes Maria and friends. I don’t know why, but seeing the franchise now makes me a bit sad...it’s probably self doubt taking over...Heck I’m almost on the verge of giving up on my dreams, but I’m doing my best to stay strong. I mean I’ve been drawing a bunch of Animaniacs content, but it kinda makes me scared that I’m slowly becoming distant from the Mario franchise...
I don’t know anymore..
Drawing them makes me a bit unhappy, but not drawing them also makes me unhappy... it’s like this endless cycle....
Why do I feel so much pain?

I know you probably don't want to talk about it, but im here to talk.
I understand the feeling all too well, feeling like my art is invalidated, to the point that I had almost given up drawing a lot of things I was passionate for. It applied to many parts of my life, and I was always stuck between wanting to do it and feeling bad about doing it.
I may not feel it to your extent, but i want to help.

I'm probably just over complicating things for myself.
Ocs are a powerful thing, they make people happy :D
But they're characters you need to treat with respect, and its nice to change it up a little bit and draw other things for a while you know?

by all means take a break, get some water, put on your favourite song and relax

Its alright, I understand the feeling... I had a few characters I put my heart and soul into and drew constantly and then I started growing apart almost? Its empty, like a silent scream that stuck in your throat i guess?

I think you made the right choice on taking a break. As they say, “Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.” But it doesn’t mean that you’ll abandon your interests. And hey, maybe the break would might freshen you up once you start drawing them again!
Don’t let those nasty thoughts get to you, they’re only there to hurt you even more. I bet your dreams will come true, but ya gotta believe in yourself! Never give up hope!

aw, well if u ever need somebody to talk to, I'm here, and as well as others on here. I really love your art and u shouldn't doubt yourself! Stay determined with ur abilities! But it's ok to take a break!
